I used this to drill stainless steel it did the job no problem but has to be used on a flat surface and low speed not for using in hand drills !!

Bit of a beast.Nice clean hole. Would recommend drilling using a clutch feature. As when the teeth catch itll snatch the drill out your hand. Iv also lost cutting teeth this was on another brand

I’ve a few hss Starrett holesaws . I’ve used them since I was an apprentice.Bought this to cut some stainless steel sheet .I used it in a mains drill and the drill struggled , needed more torque .I wouldn’t even consider it in a cordless . I did use a cutting lubricant.Worked well , there were a lot of shavings due to the width of the teeth compared to ordinary hole saws and they were very hot .Good hand protection is a must .

This is a well-made piece of equipment. I get the impression that it will last for many years. It made fairly short work of 14 gauge stainless steel. The key to success with it is to go very slow. If you have a drill press that you can dial down the RPM to around 1,000 you should do it. If you're using a hand drill, be very easy on the trigger to keep the RPMs low. Also, keep the oil or whatever lubrication you use flowing.
