Starrett brass pin punches are quality products at a good price. I have a Starrett set with the zip stop nylon case. They are made from real brass as they bend very easily; as solid brass would do. So, you cannot use these in the same manner as Steel; I learned that the hard way and bent several of the brass pin punches! lol So, I am replacing my mistakes and will continue to use these quality tools. If you are working with Stainless Steel, Nickel Plating, or any other type of surfaced metal where Steel will scratch it - which is pretty much any shiny or show piece metal - then using these precision Brass tools are the best way to go. They do the job well, they drive out pins! I use these on my Stainless Steel gun collection.

I used this punch for about 2 hours for pins that are in very tight are very tight and require a lot of striking force with a brass hammer to get out. This punch still looks like new - no bends - no breaks.I've had other brass pin punches that cost more and were of such inferior quality they would bend and actually break, unlike this one. I'll be buying more as I need them.
