マキタのドリルドライバーで原木ナメコ(柿)500駒、原木シイタケ(コナラ)500駒を打ち込んだが全くトラブルなくスムーズにあける事ができました。最初は使用方法が良くわからず、穴を開けたあと一旦ドライバーを止めると抜けにくいのでドライバーを反転して抜いてましたが、手間がかかるのて正転しながら手前に軽く引くとスムーズに抜ける事がわかりそれからは素早く次々に開けられ仕事が捗りました。本品も殆ど傷んでおらず耐久性があるドライバーです。

約10本のクヌギに穴あけをしましたが、途中インパクトドライバーのバッテリーがなくなり、ハンマードリルに変えて使用しましたが問題なく、スムーズに穴あけをすることができ、シイタケ菌500個の打ち込みが完了しました。

Some would recommend using this with an angle grinder and drill press arbor but that is overkill. a good drill will use this just fine. absolutely worth it for doing shiitake plugs as this keeps the depth consistent and shunts chips away.Cut 1/4 inch off the back of it and it will fit in most corded impact drivers, these work better than drills and are less of a hassle than angle grinders

This is my first time growing mushrooms. This drill bit works great for drilling the holes for the plugs, depth was exact. Only issue I have using this bit is the wet wood from the oak has to be manually removed from the bit occasionally.
