I was a little nervous about trying this repair kit to fix my starlink cable, but it's a great solution that allows for easy adjustments in the future. I was camping in the woods and some critter chewed a few spots in the original cable, to the point where it wouldnt connect at all. I work remotely, and starlink is my lifeline. If I can't connect I can't earn my paycheck. Luckily, I had a backup cable and was able to keep working. This kit allowed me to repair the original cable, and now I know how to wire and crimp a cat6 cable and rj45 connector. If it gets chewed on again in the future I can simply fix it again,With this tool, or replace with another cat6 cable from any office supply store, versus sending away for one.The included instructions were pretty good. The only part I wasn't sure about was what to do with the ground wire, and my question was answered very quickly by the Amazon community. (Wrap it around the cable sheath and squeeze it into the connector before crimping.Now that I've repaired my original cable with this set, I have a cable that's roughly 148' long, versus 75', which opens up a lot of options for where to put the dish when I'm at camp. Sometimes we want to park in a spot where the view of the north sky isn't great, and now we can walk the dish pretty far away to get a good signal.The cable and waterproof connections seem pretty good. The tool seems heavy duty, and both connectors went together perfectly on the first try.

Simple instructions, easy to use BUT right after 90 days, one of the connectors burnt leaving our family no internet. My wife works from home so this was a major issue. Luckily it was Sunday. I stripped all the wires and wired them straight to each other. Boom! It worked.Around 90 days later, our internet stops again. I thought the end I fixed had went bad but I checked the "good" connection and it had burnt. Stripped and fixed!Stay away from the cheaper cables unless you're ready to do a DIY fix in the middle of winter. Complete junk.

This is a two pack of grommets for use in filling in a one inch hole through a wall when routing a cable. The grommet/plugs are rubbery and can be installed after the cable has already been run. They fit my Starlink gen 3 cable with room to spare.

Bushings are a perfect fit on Starlink gen2 cable. And a perfect fit in the 1" hole in cinder block. I used a bit of silicone inside the hole to ensure smooth seal.
