I’ve been using this rolling backpack for both business trips and weekend getaways, and so far it has exceeded my expectations. The spacious compartments makes organizing really easy, and the padded laptop sleeve keeps my computer safe. The wheels glide smoothly, even on uneven surfaces, and the sturdy handle feels durable. I also love the multiple pockets for quick access to essentials like my passport and water bottle. It fits perfectly in overhead compartments, making it a great carry-on option—definitely worth the purchase!

Versatile & Spacious Rolling Backpack for Travel & WorkThe Star Cloud 21”x14”x9” Rolling Backpack is a solid choice for anyone needing a roomy, durable, and convenient backpack with wheels. Whether for travel, work, or commuting, it provides great functionality without being too bulky.Pros:✅ Spacious & Well-Organized: Plenty of compartments, including a 17.3” laptop sleeve, making it great for work or school essentials.✅ Smooth Rolling Wheels: The wheels glide well on most surfaces, making it easy to maneuver through airports or office buildings.✅ Water-Resistant Material: Helps keep your belongings dry in light rain or accidental spills.✅ Good for Carry-On Use: Fits within most airline carry-on size limits, making it a great choice for overnight travel.✅ Comfortable to Wear: The padded straps and back panel make it comfortable when used as a traditional backpack.Cons:❌ Handle Could Be More Sturdy: While functional, the telescoping handle could be a bit more robust, especially for frequent travelers.❌ Not Ideal for Rough Terrain: Works well on smooth surfaces but struggles on gravel or uneven sidewalks.Final Verdict: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5)This is a great rolling backpack for professionals, students, and travelers who need a versatile and well-organized bag. The wheels and laptop compartment make it a practical choice, though the handle could be sturdier for heavy-duty use.

Exactly as described, rolls nice so far ..haven't gone on trip yet. Roomy with lots of pockets. If not using for laptop would be nice to be able to remove padding on inside pocket to save room but thats a minor complaint

I'd buy this again as-is but wish that they would make one big and a few small changes to make it Perfect (for my use).I travel internationally most of the year, carrying my electronics (laptop, cameras, power banks, external hard drive) and meds plus an emergency change of clothes (in case my check bag is late - and hopefully not lost). My carry-on typically weighs at least 10kg (22 lbs). Being an older American and not in such great shape (my bad), I'd rather drag my carry-on instead of carrying it on my back (like I'd been doing for the first seven years). Last year I purchased a pair of Osprey Transporter 4-Wheel 22"/36+5L Hybrid Carry-On Luggage for my wife and I. They were great, except that now we were asked to weigh our carry-ons at just about every single check-in counter. It made me further purchase an expensive travel jacket with tons of zippers and room for 90% of my electronics just to "carry" them "on my arm" so that they wouldn't count against my carry-on weight, and then putting the entire thing back in my bag! So, over $400 spent, plus additional useless weight (jacket) for much less true convenience. Don't get me wrong: the Ospreys are Great, if you can keep them to 7-10kg.So, this year I thought of finding a compromise between the two solutions. That is a "backpack with Wheels". So, I've learned that big, strong wheels are Critical for cobblestone / brick sidewalks / dragging through beach sand / uneven pavements. At the same time, a roomy backpack with solid straps is also critical because it'd be almost impossible to replace a broken strap. Further, it'd need to be tall (but not too tall), wide (but not too wide) and deep (but not too deep) so that it can provide the Max volume while still fitting inside 90-100% of airliners, including commuters (like Embraer used by United). After looking at close to 80 bags on Amazon and reading more reviews than I care to recall, I selected this bag with its small wheels and Goldiar / PISKGODSF "Black Rolling Backpack for Adults, 22 Inch Backpack with Wheels, Large Wheeled Backpack" (Amazon item B0CKWJ2XPK) with 7" wheels to compare (55L).I honestly feel that this bag will last me a very long time.Great:1. Voluminous2. Reasonable weight for the volume3. Smooth rolling4. Seemingly great workmanship5. Great and Sufficient compartments that efficiently use the available volume6. (All but two small) compartments are easily accessible7. Backpack straps are Sown-in (no clips, etc. that can break) and are nicely padded and quite comfortable to use even with 11kg in the bag8. Fits in the overhead compartment of an Embraer E170/75 long ways (top to the front, bottom towards the back of the plane) on its back, so long as the small, outermost zipper area is not bulging (see my 1st picture)9. Easily fits in the overhead compartment on a Boeing 787 / Airbus A330 (see my 2nd picture) - even on its side10. It is not too tall so I can use the backpack straps to put it on top of my Thule carry-on (that I use as my check bag) and drag both of them with one hand while I use my other hand for my cellphone / Maps!11. The bottom feels quite solid and feels like it can take the beach sand (though I'd try not to put it on there) and the cobble stones / brick sidewalks / etc. Though the small wheels give me qualms and I'd rather throw it on my back than to chance damaging this beautiful bag12. The main compartment is Cavernous. Perfect for anyone who needs to carry large / tall items (not me). I ended-up using gallon and quart Ziplocks to help me better organize (not a complaint). I Love it.13. The 1st zipper area in the front flap (the big one) hides a volume that is the size of the Entire Front Flap: extending from between it and the edges of the entire flap. It is 1-1.5" deep!14. Zippers look super sturdy and were Smooth (unlike my ~$400 Osprey - smoothness, that is!)15. The laptop compartment is thick enough to accommodate two travel laptops each in their protective sleeves and then some!16. Keep in mind that you can put your own power bank in any of these compartments and use it to charge your devices (by threading its cable in front of a zipper). I consider a dedicated power bank space a waste of space and more of a sales gimmickNeeds Improvement (but are acceptable as-is) to make Perfect0. Replace the zipper pulls with ones that I can easily lock using a standard, small TSA-compliant lock, instead of the massive pull loop ones that I now have to thread through the opening that happens to be there. This should be an even part swap (my guess) and Free. Being able to lock All the compartments (including the small one on top by locking it to small cloth loop) is critical in pick-pocket heaven cities like Barcelona1. Give me a version with 7" wheels!2. Give me a version with dual telescopic handles (much more stable) and a Flat Top, which would allow me to drag it more stably and to put a big bag on top and have it be stable as I drag this one along (e.g. my wife's massive travel day purse)3. Add a 4" (?) back cloth "belt" (of the same material) that I can use to stably carry this on top of my check bag so that the check bag's telescopic handle can thread through it! (My wife would never use this as it'd put too much strain on her wrist)4. Update the inside color of the backpack strap cover area so that it is Black (less noticeable by the gate agents) and enlarge the "wheel cover" flaps so that they fully and confidently cover the wheels. (Remember to clean any Mud off the wheels - or the flaps before you use it as you don't want to get the backpack straps muddy once you convert back to a roller)5. Replace and upgrade the plastic of the telescopic handle as it is rather rough on my delicate soft hands. The handle on my Thule is Perfect and I can use it to drag both bags (25kg + 12kg) on carpet for 20+ min and my soft, delicate hands get neither chafed or tired. A short distance of dragging this bag on smooth tile and my palms and fingers were red and throbbing (softy as I am)6. The side zipper needs to go all the way (or at least most of the way) down to the bottom of the valuable space to make it truly useful. As it is, it was very difficult for me to stick my "medium" hand in there to retrieve something from the bottom - and almost wasn't able to. As such, I will Never put anything in there other than a piece of paper, folded Long Ways! This potentially useful space (that I have on my old backpack) is practically useless. I used to carry all of my reservation / etc. paperwork in such a compartment on my old backpack7. the little top-front compartment: similar complaint: It is cute but very difficult to use because it is so narrow. It would be 100% useful (for passports, tickets, wallet, etc. at TSA) if it was the width of the entire front - especially if it was a bit baggy.8. Please make the cute little red loops on the front corners wider so that I can use them for carabiners. As they are, not even my smallest one would fit. I guess that I could use an ugly zip tie through it but why?9. Proudly sow your company's label on the front of this Fantastic bag! Make me a Billboard: everyone else does!10 . The 1st zipper area in the front flap (the big one) referenced on #13, above: I wish that its zipper went all the way to the bottom like the main flap's as it would make this space even that much more useful / accessible.11. The "tablet" storage space on top of the laptop storage space: I wish that it was as wide / tall as the laptop one as tablets are getting bigger every day. Why make it smaller? Save 1oz of weight? Someone could even put a portable display in there!12. It needs a standard ID pocket on the outside where I can put my ID in case the bag is lost (on the top?). This is standard on most travel bags that I have but is missing here (OK, the Osprey doesn't have one either). I've had to put such info in All compartments, just in case.13. The drink net is Fantastic and sturdy. I just wish that it was as tall as they could make it to make it even more utilitarian!14. You can peel back most of the inside cover of the main compartment, exposing the raw material of the pack (see 3rd picture). I wish that I could take out the whole thing to wash or to gain a few extra millimeters of extra space (I'd have to be careful with the bolt heads, etc. but I'd like the option and think that it may be an even trade for cost between the current design and my proposal. It would be even better if the Entire inside "bucket" would come out (including the remaining three sides). I really don't understand the reason for the current "neither here nor there" design as the thin cover has already developed a hole where something hard and heavy that I had put on the bottom rubbed it against the bottom plastic ribbing legitimately put there for strength. Had I seen it earlier (had it been exposed), I'd have put a piece of clothing between the two, saving both. As it is, the plastic rib is now permanently damaged (saw toothed) and will be a problem for me from now-on (I'll put a duct tape over it!). Hindsight. Not sure what the best compromise would have been (weight / cost / etc.) I think having a fully exposed interior (like the Osprey) would have been the best way to go. I think that Osprey used smooth, round top screws instead of hex head bolts. Even swap?To reiterate: I'd buy this again as-is (unless I find something ugly later). I am a Mechanical Engineer so looking for design improvements is part of my being. And this is a Very Well Designed (and manufactured) piece of luggage. Buy it!
