Beefy tool that works for those heavy duty situations where a thick blade and impact drive are called for.Made in USA, probably will outlive me, what more do you need?

I had a very specific need for this tool and it worked great. Stanley Proto are great tools, comparable, and in some cases arguably better, than truck brands.

I ordered the Stanley Proto 1/2 inch drive screwdriver bit because I needed to remove the slotted screws from starters. I tried everything else I could find, but to no avail. I used this tool and an impact driver and the screws canes out with ease with absolutely no damage to the screwdriver bit. This tool is solid and I would recommend this tool if you are dismantling a starter.

Worked great for getting a worn out bolt from a motorcycle engine. Definitely worth the money.

The tip is not 5/64 (0.078125) inch thick as described but a much thicker 0.091 inch and will not fit most flat 1/2 inch screw slots. If amazon corrects the description, then ignore this review. The product appears to be solid but could not test it due to its unexpected thickness.
