Lightweight enough to carry in my purse. Good price. Locks into place, great for small spaces. Solid metal. Good addition to my collection.

Stanley tape measures for decades were made of strong metal cases. This one is plastic, but instead of being HONEST about it and making it obviously plastic, they gave the plastic a fake silvery finish so people buying it online would of course obviously assume it was metal, like they were for years and years and years. Well it's not, and I don't appreciate companies I work with actively and purposefully trying to trick and lie to me.

I have been using the Stanley Powerlock tape measures for over 35 years.I have a 12 foot and a 16 foot as well.
