Cheap , this modified hand tools is now good for scrap . When Stanley made offset snips 5 years ago they were the best money could buy ( better than Wiss and many others brands ) . Now they are so bad that they went straight to the recycle bin . What a waste ! When something is good , don’t try to fix it .

The new design of this snips are horrible.. Very hard to cut the thinnest aluminum, and not smooth at all

I’m a journeyman sheet metal tech and I’ve used a number of snips over my 13 year career. These are subgrade. Used on 26 ga. up to 22 ga. And they have destroyed themselves. Malco. Or Midwest can handle 16 ga. For months if not years. Spend the money and buy anything other than these.

Pros: Cuts good, smooth movement, feels good in hand, improved rubber handles (looks they will not slip off).Cons: Spring feels and looks weaker, mechanism can not be tightened or taken apart since is held be rivets not screws, locking bracket is plastic not metal, does not look as good as previous version.
