Nice addition to any discus thrower bag. Good weight to it, quality rubber used. Spins well. Recommend 👍

I got this to teach my kids how to throw discus. This is for the 1kg discus. The size is for women’s discus or to train and teach beginners or kids how to throw. This is not a high spin or competition discus as it is rubber. These are great for learning and practicing to avoid damaging your competition discus on beginners.I tried to weigh the discus but my scale was only a 1kg max. The scale gave me an error. This means it exceeds the weight scale. I am not able to confirm the weight but I did try.The discus has a solid feel to it and spins nicely when throwing it. Again this is a practice discus and not a high spin competition discus. I was teaching my kids to throw it. One drill was to roll it on the ground and it would go nice and straight (when done correctly).I liked the sticker on the side as it helped me show the kids the discus had to spin when throwing or rolling it. The sticker allowed me to show them when the discus was spinning correctly Vs not. The kids caught on about the spinning with the sticker on the side.Overall this is a good starter or practice discus. I hope this review helps you make a decision.

I ordered this rubber discus for my daughter to practice throwing at home in our yard to get read for track season. She's so thrilled with it. It is a solid rubber material with a high quality feel to it. It is smooth and well-balanced.

It's lighter than a regulation discus, this is a great training tool to work on your throwing form and technique!

I got the 1Kg size discus and it is a solid discus. Though my son uses a 2kg for competition in high school, he does work with middle school students at his small school. They've only got one 1Kg discus so having this will allow quicker practice for those students. My son went and threw this discus outside a few times and said it was good quality.
