I bought these shoes for my daughter who has wide feet. So few shoes come in a wide size, and even fewer are gender-neutral. This style of shoes is timeless. They looked great on girls and boys for decades now. I'm not someone who wants to buy a lot of different kinds of shoes for kids who may only wear them for 3-12 months. That's part of what I love about these. You could pair them with a dress or with jeans, and they'd look appropriate with either. My little girl now has Penny loafers, sneakers, and cowboy boots and I figure that's all she needs.I bought the burgundy and I am very pleased. I got a size 4w for a girl who fits into 3w, and they're a tad big, but not so big she can't walk in them, just big enough I know they'll last the winter. She loves them, says they're very comfortable. Recommended!

I ordered a size bigger and in wide width, and the shoe was still so small I couldn't get my foot in it. Bad design of the shoe. Boys feet are not narrow like girls, and this was a wide! Very disappointed.

I bought my son a pair of school shoes at the beginning of the school year that were twice as expensive as the sperry's and they fell apart by January. The Speery loafers are very nice looking shoes at a reasonable price. My son has narrow feet, so the fact that they came in a narrow width was an Unexpected bonus! Great shoe, great fit, great price. Comfortable too!
