I have previously only had clear Speck cases on my apple products. The phone case is crystal clear, the old MacBook case is crystal clear... the new MacBook case is described as clear but it is not. Might look better on the silver but I doubt it. Should be described as matte or cloudy. Is not clear.

Pretty good case, doesn't perfectly fit, but gets the job done.

I bought this case for my new Macbook pro as I had previously had a Speck case on my old MAcbook and it is still in perfect condition after about 8 years. However, this new case is practically falling apart after just 2 months. Most of the corners are cracked and i'm not sure how long it wll be before it falls off the laptop. i'm very disappointed in the quality of this case, and certainly cannot recommend it.

Love my speck case, not my first one. It fits well and has a great feel to it. Previously I had ordered Speck cases listed as clear, and they were just that, crystal clear. This one was listed as clear, but is mostly clear, but it looks like you are looking through something fuzzy or cloudy. Even at that, it is not terrible, just not what I expected.

The top case shell has stress cracks in all four corners after just over a month's very light use (at home placing laptop in and out of laptop case) but conveniently for the seller just after the return window has closed. Bottom case shell remains intact. I strongly recommend Do Not Buy.
