Item arrived on time, and is of good quality with wood and brass inlays. At first it was quite tight to move, but an application of machine wax and some repetitive movements soon freed it up. Good value for money.

Marking gauge arrived and looked *odd* in the packaging. After taking it apart and putting it back together again, it became obvious that the mortis for the fence was out of square. In both axes. Later I noticed that the tip of the scribing pin had a defect—that could be fixed with a file but I'd already decided to return the item.Anyway, QC is an issue with this product.

Looked like an excellent quality tool, but there were no markings/graduations on it. I've never seen a marking gage with no markings of its own. I returned it.

This is a very simple marking gauge, and it works just like it should.The bonus is that it works like a charm, and looks good doing it!
