I'm really impressed with my flash light holder so much that I'm going to buy three more for strategic places throughout my house for just in case

I wanted to provide a D cell flashlight in my garage, for use in emergency situations. I’d tried the plastic C shaped clips the manufacturer sells, but found these were too difficult to allow the flashlight to be pulled out of its mounts easily. This bracket uses a tapered design, so a simple lift and pull allows the flashlight to be quickly removed.

I bought three!The D size work great but the C batteries size was not for the newer C size Mag-Lites, In other words it didn't fit!I Liked them so much I paid for them instead of just copying themBy the looks of them they were 3D printed, They may turn out to be fragile but only time and use will tell.My concern was in the wall mounting instructions which stated do not use tapered headed screws, Which I assume may when used with a powered screw driver crack the mount.I used the supplied screws and so far all is good.The C size mount has a narrow opening for the flashlight barrel. I might as well get a D size mount in which all the flashlight fit! (The C one a bit wobbly)

Pros, fits multiple brands of flashlights with long thin body. I have on mounted in the shop and in my hallway closet at home, to keep my "good" flashlight out of the way but easily available in a brown-out or blackout. A little pricey for what it does, but, fits well. I used it with a couple of duracell flashlights, but won't work with the D-cell flashlights, only the C-cell thinner tube/body flashlights. I'd love to see other sizes of this mount, it's well thought out and appears durable. Cons are that when you see it, you'll think "it's just a piece of plastic that costs a lot of money". then again, my flashlight is not a spaceship-complexity device either, "just a metal tube with an LED that costs a lot of money". If you are averse to spending lots of money for seemingly simple things, your local hardware store will definitely have a kludge bracket that will perform the same task, for less..
