I play 2 instruments at church and needed this for my flute. It's very sturdy and works great.

Very well made and stable metal base and an added foam cushion on the stand peg protects my soprano sax from scratches. If you leave the foam cushion off it can support a clarinet or a flute though the flute is not as secure because the post is sloping and thicker at the bottom. A traditional flute stand would be superior but this one could work.
