This pocket tripod is small but very useful. The magnetic mount holds the phone securely only if the phone has no cover on it. A great tool for anyone who takes a lot of videos in a controlled environment but I wouldn't use it moving around a lot. It does look great.

I ordered this specifically for taking family photos on a timed shutter or videos with family while I was visiting my daughter and her family last month. I didn’t end up using it - but only because I completely forgot to take any pictures with all of us together (I know - I feel like a bad grandparent).It is well designed and stable. I love that it is compact enough to put in my pocket or purse and has its own carry bag. Will definitely be a game changer next time we want a family photo with EVERYONE in the picture.

This is a fantastic little tripod. All metal construction, folds small, stiff hinges, hyper adjustable, and very stable. I also like that it can be screwed onto a 1/4" thread. It has rubber feet, which helps it stay put and sit nicely on a hard surface. I like that comes with additional magsafe rings for phones without magsafe, though I have not tested these. It would not be a great tripod for an uneven surface because the legs are completely flat. I hope the hinges stay just as tight with a lot of use because they cannot be adjusted. For ultralight travelers, the sturdy metal construction means that it is somewhat heavy for its size. Overall great purchase

This magnetic phone stand is both flexible and sturdy. Made entirely of aluminum this stand looks sleek and feels really well built. I love how small this unit can fold to easily fit inside of your pocket or backpack. It's truly portable.The hinges feel stiff but doesn't seem to be adjustable, so I am unsure if it will loosen up with time. As of right now though it is able to hold any angle that I put it in with ease. The feet can swing out to create a tripod like base and the magnetic phone mount makes it super easy to just pop your phone onto it to use as a tripod or stand for watching content. Each leg of the base has a small rubber pad to prevent it from sliding around.One other really cool thing about the feet of this stand is that when folded in, it is able to fit an Arca-Swiss tripod head and essentially becomes a Arca-Swiss quick release plate for your phone. This is great if you want to capture content using your phone but need to get it to a higher angle. There is also a 1/20 screw adapter on the bottom of the feet to mount it to any type of tripod or camera mount if needed.Alternatively you could also use the mount as a top handle to get low shots with your phone as demonstrated in the photos on the product page, so this thing is super versatile.It would be awesome to see a version of this in the future with magnets embedded into the base to mount it to metal surfaces but even as is this little portable phone stand can do so much. It's the perfect accessory to throw into your pocket to elevate your mobile content creating/consuming experience.

I use these phone mounts on my desk every day. It's nice to have phone sitting up while working. I actually have a phone mount that they are comparing this product too in the pictures. That one is very bulky and didn't like putting it in my pocket. For that reason I got a flat folding MagSafe tripod but it was not very adjustable. So I thought I would give this a shot slightly smaller and has more positions. At First I thought it wasn't too stable but then I went back and looked at the pictures and legs need to rotate all the way around and to the front. I had just pulled them out ~45 degrees when you really need to rotate them the full 140 degrees. I have an ARCA tripod mount so that's another plus for this product. There are so many positions that this tripod can be used in which makes it very versatile. The legs and arms have a nice strong pivot and stay in place in the position where you move them. The plus is it is more compact and a little more pocketable. Great when you go out and want your phone sitting up right on a table.
