Picked this up to help with shooting practice. Great little compact mount that can attach to interior walls of a range. Fits pretty much anywhere holds well.

The new Go3s version has a larger lens guard that interferes with the latch and won't close. Only good for the Go3 but that is disappointing it isn't universally functional for both.

I was curious when I saw this product since it does something the OEM Go3 magnetic mount doesn't do, which is pivot downward. This is a nice feature, especially if you have small children or a pet that you may be recording. Otherwise, I tested the magnetism of this mount versus the OEM Go3 mount, and it appeared to have about 50% less strength. This is a concern since there's nothing else holding your video camera to your body. I would not suggest using this mount for sporting activities or in the surf at the beach as I think the lower magnetism may result in the loss of the camera. It is also slightly heavier than the OEM mount (.4 ounces) by my scale, so it's a little more weight around the neck. The included necklace cord is also about 2x as wide as the cord for the OEM mount. Overall, I like the mount that came with the Go3 product better, and given the lower magnetism, cannot recommend.
