I don't know which model some of the people reviewing this received but the one I ordered didn't have grommets and wasn't supposed to according to the description. It was easy to assemble although it does take a little time. It took me about 5 minutes to put together the basic screen (no water weights or tie downs) the first time. I'll probably be able to do it a little quicker next time around.I have a pretty weak projector, and it was fine in a dark room. I don't suspect it will hold up to scrutiny if you're trying to use it with a high quality projector and want perfect video quality, but at this price point, I think it's pretty good. The screen itself was very flat and didn't show wrinkles. The fabric is a thin lycra like material that stretches over the frame so it isn't wrinkled.If you're looking for something super high quality for some sort of high end viewing this isn't for you, but if you're looking for a screen for an outdoor movie night with the kids, it's fine. It works a lot better than the sheet I was using previously.

Yes, it's cloth. Yes, it's not super sturdy. But for me that's a good thing! Depends on what you're looking for. It's easy to set up and take down (add small weights to the feet). Very portable. It's not heavy so very easy to transport. You can take it down and all of the parts fit in a very small area that you can put away. If you don't have a lot of space, you can put it up for movie night and then take it down in an instant. If you're doing a theater room then you shouldn't be bargain shopping anyways. This isn't for a fancy theater room. It's for a mobile, instant setup take down, sort of situation. If you want to maximize a smaller space, try it out! It's at a great price point too!

Stand is a little Flimsy but doable, light weight, screen is as described. Fast set-up and take down. Fast shipping

Bought this so I can project live events and old concert films. For the money, you can't go wrong. Better than trying to use an old sheet or one of the old old style home-movie projector screens (too small). Haven't used it outdoors, but worked great in a 7 foot ceiling basement! Picture not bad, and that also depends of quality of your projector. Someone else suggested clipping a large piece of black fabric to it as a backing to make the image better. I may try that and see if it makes a difference. Overall though, I can't complain. We've had fun with it, watching stuff on a big screen - bigger than any TV we have owned.
