If you love gathering/wearing enamel pins, and have a collection numbering in the double digits, do yourself a favor and buy one of these (preferably with the plastic covers). My only regret is not buying this sooner.

When you have a huge pin collection, it can be hard finding a good way to display them. There are things like ITA bags, pin boards, etc. This is kind of like a mixture between a pin binder and felt pin board. There are 5 of these pages, each one having 54 rectangles to store pins, but these rectangles are pretty small (a little less than an inch wide). Each of these rectangles have 2 vertical slits, which can be used to stick a pin in or put the brooch part of a button through. It is good for smaller pins, about 1 inch pins, but big pins with multiple backs are a bit harder to put on this, as those backing most likely will not end up on one of the backing slits. The first layer you can stick a pin through if you need to, but the material is a bit tough, so I would pierce it with a thumbtack first so the pin does not get damaged. I would not use any of the top slots near the binder rings because when flipping the pages back they can hit the binder rings and get scratched. It is a bit hard to get the pins to lay flat while having the pin backs on them, I think the design would have benefitted by having a bit more hollow space behind the pin layer for the pin backs so they do not jut out as much.

This is a really good way to display and protect your pins. Every part of it is good quality. This is perfect for enamel pins/pins that have a pin post. For other types of pins, it's harder to get them in cuz this display has pre-made holes. Which again, is perfect for enamel pins, but just keep in mind for other types of pins.
