People are making a killing on this stuff I can't consciously recommend this item because as you can see in the picture it's nothing more than a piece of sheet metal with a piece of round pipe. Cut servered off with some screws screwed into the side of it. It's very simple piece of hardware and there should not be charging what they are for it and claiming what it's for. I mean it's garbage. I mean I got to be honest about the stuff that I review and this is just ridiculous

I like the heavy weight of the metal, but the length of the post is way too short. It's not high enough to clear the slop of the roof. Searching for a better option now

The mount is very good. One item of concern was the the pole hole is actually 2.5" rather than the 2" I was expecting (the product detail is clear about that, I just assumed) Since most of the poles I run into are 2", I needed to fabricate a small sleeve to avoid playing the "tippy christmas tree" game with the mounting screws.
