Nice features, easy to install. With the weight of the speaker on the shelf it tips a little downward though. Not level but doesn’t fall off.

Love the low-profile design. Seems sturdy.But…The cord of my first-gen HomePod does NOT fit through the hole in the mount.

I love wall mounting for nearly everything - it reclaims a lot of space, and makes the area look more intentional.I recently got a HomePod for my shop and wanted a sturdy mount to keep the HomePod out of the way. I saw that there was a hole on this one and assumed that that was for mounting. I didn't check the HomePod itself, but there is no hole on the bottom of it (at least for the Gen 2 HomePod). The hole on this mount doesn't really serve any purpose.I'm a bit nervous mounting the HomePod without any way to secure the device to the mount, as it could be tipped over. The device itself is pretty bottom heavy, but I'm still nervous about it.If you are using this in the living room, it probably will work great, as it is essentially a custom-made shelf. The body of the mount is very solid, and the cable management feature makes the installation very clean.

(Metal Wall Mount Compatible with Homepod 1st and 2nd gen., Wall Mount Bracket Accessories Compatible with Homepod 1& 2,Wall Stand Cable Management Black (Black) / $17 at the time of ordering)The base of the mount fits both the 1st and 2nd Gen HomePods just fine. There’s a slight padding to help cushion it a bit I guess. Build quality is very good. The metal is robust. I’ll update should any issues arise but, I don’t see it bending/sagging over time. The mounting screws it shipped with are junk. Use some GRK screws (or anything better than what they sent). And of course, try and mount directly to a stud.With regard to the hole for cable management, it will not fit the 1st Gen HomePod. The hole is simply too small to get the plug through. Just a note if that’s important to you. It can work for the 2nd Gen HomePod because Apple made that version with a removable plug. As for the coiling of the cable on the underside of the mount, it works. It’s not aesthetically nice but it works fine. Overall, decent mount.
