Item as described. Ball joints are aluminum as well as the body to ensure maximum grip that’ll hold the camera in place compared to those plastic made. AMAZING ITEMIt comes with instructions. And both attachments for go pro and insta 360

So far I’ve had no issues with it. Holds ups just fine and holds firm. Great option if you don’t have much room on the bars for a mount

It's tough to install a camera on my motorcycle helmet - it's doable, but not for long distance trips at freeway speeds due to all of the wind drag against the only good mounting spot I can find on the helmet. I've tried a few different mount methods, one involved a significant amount of double-sided tape ontop of my "dashboard", which resulted in significant bumpiness to the camera quality. This was the solution I needed to record my trips without getting in the way. The mount itself wasn't thick enough to surround my fairly standard motorcycle handlebars (which I might have docked a star, however it says the max. width right on the product page), but I was able to fasten to the lower part of the side view mirror without any issues. It doesn't remove all of the bumpiness from the ride (especially on dirt/gravel), but I use a camera purely for record keeping / insurance purposes, and the stability is plenty fine for that, just likely not YouTube-channel level quality. The tightening mechanism is the right size, and simple to use, and installation overall was a breeze - didn't have to follow any complicated instructions. I tested this as high as 90mph, with zero issues to it's overall rigidity / securement.Would recommend if you have the right width of something to mount it to!

I have recently found out about this ram ball mount style system of parts. So I have been acquiring a lot of them because I have fairly specific needs for ways to hold gear in place that is durable and versatile. The 1/4" 20 thread on the ball adapter with action cam mount part is the primary piece I needed. But also, the clamping section (shown in the middle of my pile of parts photo) is the most secure one from different brands that I have. Make sure that unless you are mixing and matching parts like I am, this really is designed for mounting on a tubular bar of a size range, so check to make sure the size is compatible, and I don't think this wold work well on a square tube (without making an adapter part or something).I have mixed feelings about the way the handlebar mount section attaches. Personally, I prefer equipment that doesn't require extra tools like hex wrenches to attach and detach. However, for something like a bike, because it may be left out in areas where potential thieves would be tempted to take parts off, at least it makes it a little less likely this would be removed by the average person that isn't walking around with a pocket full of wrenches. The other consideration, which may or may not matter, depending on your usage, is that the single knob for the clamp section tightens both of the ball ends. This means that unless you are very careful to just barely loosen it enough to use force to adjust angles, you'll probably need two hands free- one hand for turning the know and the other hand on the action cam or whatever is mounted to prevent it from falling fully out of position. Though it's not as bad as it might sound because a lot of turns on the clamp would be needed before the ball mount parts could be disconnected. It's just that they can be floppy and flop into a fully down position if trying to adjust with one hand on the knob only.

This mirror post mounting kit can handle just about any small camera that has a standard tripod port. I have a time lapse camera that is small that I want to experiment mounting onto my motorcycle and taking for a ride while it takes images every 10 seconds. I couldn't quite figure out how to mount it but this is perfect in that it'll be mounted a little bit higher since it's up on a post versus being on the handlebar. There are two separate ball joint adjustments that let you fine tune the camera position to a precise angle.
