Great product at a cheap price! I have taken it out in the salt and rinse it after every use. There is no damage after a month of this kind of use.

This broke after the first use. Get what you pay for. The twisting lock mechanism broke and won't telescope anymore.

I like the ball mount parts, they are all super high quality, the selife stick is also high quality, but the function on how it locks is kind of odd. It's a twist to lock. Which I'm not sure but I feel like would effect your angle of view on your camera if it doesn't lock back down exactly the same every time. I don't know how the inside functions completely so I can't say for sure. But the fact that you have to twist your camera back and forth to adjust height is kind of an off putting function for a camera mount. I have multiple other selfie sticks that have a nice system for extension and retraction where they are locked in one direction unable to spin and I like that design better. However if you need it to stay at one height and are fine possibly making micro adjustments to yaw if you do have to adjust height, this might be a great function for you, as it won't retract by mistake and actually locks at that height. It comes with a T track mount which you can mount on the selfie stick, or the ball arm by itself. Also if you buy a 1" ball with a male 1/4-20 thread and a gopro mount with a female 1/4-20 thread, you can put the ball arm on the bottom and the selfie stick on the top, meaning if it gets hit by a tree limb or something, it will bend at the base and not break whatever it's hard mounted too.I like the parts and the design, but for what I use it for I'll likely go with one of my other selfie sticks, it has it's place, but doesn't fit my needs exactly as it is, so take that into account. If you like it's design I recommend you getting it. If what I described is enough to put you over the fence in the other direction, it might not be for you. But it's a solid product nonetheless. Regardless if it's a perfect function for your (or my) application.
