This kids sun hat works great! We always have some of these types of hats around since we have an in ground pool. Especially since my son gets rashes on the Apple of his cheeks right under his eye from googles that he insists on wearing. Every single pair I have ever bought does it to him. So we will not put sunscreen on his face sometimes when it’s really bothering him and then just put a hat on him!Fit wise it can definitely fit a wide range of different sized heads, which is nice. It also comes out further in the back than most other sun hats for kids I have gotten. The material is breathable and doesn’t get heavy when it’s wet either. Overall I’m happy with it!

I prefer a brim hat design, but for what it's worth, the material on this hat is moisture-wicking, holds up nicely, and the mesh at the back helps some heat to escape, though I would have preferred the mesh to be all around instead for better ventilation.Color scheme and pattern is cute and consistent with hats targeting children of younger age.

I ordered the blue cartoon hat for my five-year-old son and it fits him very well. It offers superior sun protection compared to other hats because it extends down the back of his neck. This is a great choice for taking walks, playing outdoors in the sprinkler, and playing in the pool. We still apply ample sunscreen but this hat does help.It is lightweight and thinner than expected. I like that because it is breathable and does not get as hot in the heat of the sun. It also dries quickly when it gets wet. It folds up easily if I want to put it in a backpack or bag and doesn't hurt the brim. It did not have any problems with seams or construction. I do think it is worth considering.

The hat was an instant hit, and it may have even bestowed magical powers on the child who received it, as he began leaping off chairs and claiming the ability to fly. The hat is well-crafted. The hat's construction is satisfactory. A few stray threads had to be snipped. Some of the stitching inside the hat band, connecting the mesh sections to the hat brand, is a little sloppy, so I'm not sure how long it will last. The sweat band is gentle on the skin and effectively wicks away sweat. The hat has an adjustable buckle on the outside back to fit a smaller head. The chin strap can be removed. It comes with a whistle; however, if you give the whistle to a child, be careful because the whistle I received has sharp plastic edges. My hat's chin strap does not stay attached to the hat. The chin strap is attached with two snaps on the hat, but the hold is weak. The strap comes off pretty easily.
