Perfect knife for work if you need to open boxes. Needs sharpened often. Do no expose to moisture. Brought my first camping and left it after cutting damp willow. 2 weeks later was to rusted to repair.

Knife is sharp out of the package. Opening the blade from closed position is not as smooth as other similar knives I own. The main issue I have with this knife is that the inner edges of the frame are not well finished. This is noticeable when opening. Whichever finger you use to "flick" the blade open will make contact with the inner edges of the frame as the blade opens. The inner frame edges are sharp, and you feel it every time you open the blade.

The quality of materials and assembly of this knife are far beyond its price. I was really surprised once I removed it from packaging and flipped out the blade. The movement is precise, no wiggle, and with a reassuring click telling you the blade is safely locked.Handle: The handle has a great texture; non-slip, attractive and apparently very tough. You couldn’t ask for beter.Blade: As pictured, the blade is characteristically Tanto with sharp lines and hollow ground on both sides to a polished edge. The stainless steel seems of sound quality and speaks of quality, The blade arrived semi-sharp so I spent about a half hour with it and my Wicked Edge machine. When finished and stropped, the hair on my arm just popped off as the blade moved over my arm. And because the cutting edge apex is straight along the entire length of the blade, it’s easy to occasionally give the knife a quick strop to maintain its crazy edge!I have SEVERAL daily carry knives but this one is hands-down the easiest to carry and now my favorite to proudly use.
