Es un accesorio que tiene una calidad muy buena. No es barato pero vale la pena. Ahora ya puedo montar mi Osmo Action a mi DSRL Nikon para poder tomar foto y video. La cámara montada así también hace que lleves dos objetivos a la cámara DSRL. UNO el gran angular de la cámara de acción y el propio de la DSRL Por ejemplo un 35 mm. Súper recomendado.

Great piece made from aluminum and holds your Gopro secure to your hot shoe. I wanted to be able to shoot video while taking photos and this is the tool for that job it works great.

I love how it is made of Aluminum over plastic, extremely durable and good for all weather. It works great with a Canon camera and also Gopro attachments. mostly using this attachment when photographing wildlife and wanting a bit of video when taking the photos. this can be used in a variety of ways, but I do suggest that you adjust the volume on a DSLR vs a Mirrorless camera because you will hear all the shutters in the video due to the Gopro being like 2 inches away from camera.I don't use it on ever photography shoot, but it is so handy to keep in your camera bag.

There is a growing trend at the moment for people to mount their GoPro's on their DSLR and record video whilst they are out shooting subjects. In order to do that you will need a sturdy hotshoe mount. One that won't break easily, can take a few knocks and one that keeps your GoPro steady and locked in.The Smatree full aluminum tripod screw does exactly that. It is a very simple all metal mount that slides into your hotshoe plate on your DSLR just like you would fit a speedlight and you place your GoPro on top and tighten that with the standard screw the GoPro uses. It even comes with a locking nut to hold your screw in place however since the fitting itself has been bored, you don't actually need to use the locking nut.The tripod screw is sturdy, holds your GoPro very sturdily so it is not wobbling around and does exactly what it is designed to do. For the price, this is a good buy.

Absolutely PERFECT for my needs.I have all of the Nikon FX Pro bodies and primarily use the D5 and D4s. I needed a method for mounting a GoPro Hero6 on the hot shoe of my D5 so that I could be capturing video while shooting available light stills.This inexpensive hot shoe adapter is already aligned facing forward and leaves only tilt adjustment for the user. Setting the GoPro H6 for Narrow view is enough to keep the 70-200mm zoom with shade well out of the video frame. If put on Wide View, you would see the shade.I was concerned that the forward facing alignment may be off a little, bit it isn't. So it's a perfect solution for combining my still photography with simultaneous Video Capture without having to switch over to video, which has always been my method.Small, well constructed, completely functional and inexpensive. Now that I know how well it works, I'll have one in every camera bag at the ready.Fits the GoPro Hero 5 or 6 Black editions perfectly. I just leave it attached to the frame and it's ready to clip on and begin using.Thank you Smatree, for such a simple on-camera solution for those who need to attach that GoPro to a DSLR of any size and manufacture so long as it has a hot-shoe on top.The only drawback is that I can't use an on-camera strobe/speedlight because those are also on that hot-shoe. But I'm not complaining, it's exactly as I hoped it would be.Get one, you won't be disappointed and I have no reservations at all about endorsing this adapter.
