These are such lovely socks. I've never before in my life spent $30 for a pair of socks but these would be worth it if they didn't start unraveling immediately. I'm returning the pair you see above in purple because I first noticed that whole after the second time I washed them after very little wear. I ordered the blue ones to replace them and they had a hole in them right out of the package. I'm so disappointed. I might try to repair them which is a shame because again these are not cheap. But they are really pretty and comfortable so I would really like to keep them. Not sure if I will order from SmartWool again.

I bought these as a gift. The are soft, warm, excellent quality, and a very cute design. They would make excellent socks for hiking as they have elastic in the arch and the ankle, but are warm for the toes with adequate cushioning. Great product. Worth the price for only one pair of socks.

Considering the prices of other wool socks, it’s a good value for the money spent. They’ve held up well over a years time for me now- they were gifted to me by my husband. I’ve worn them for work and casual. They’re way cuter in person than in the photo advertised. They still have so much life left in them.They check all boxes for warmth, fit and washability.
