I purchased this to support the Smallrig Mini Matte Box (#3196) and it is perfect for the job.The piece features very high quality finishing with rounded edges and smooth lines throughout. It easily attaches to the matte box using a thumbwheel and stays nice and sturdy thanks to the anti-twist pins.It's a very nice item though I found the price to be a bit exorbitant. But since there were few options that seemed to guaranteed to accommodate the specific matte box, I decided to bite the bullet and order it.My only grippe is with the anti-twist pins which are great for this specific matte box, but since they are fixed and can't be removed, it severely limits the use of this rod support with other products - which would have been a nice consolation for the price!Overall, considering the quality of the item, I'm pleased with it.
