These sandals arrived two days ago, wrapped tight in plastic, almost vacuum-sealed, and when I opened them up they smelled so bad I about gagged--a VERY STRONG smell of kerosene, like they'd been dipped in jet fuel before shipping. Absolutely awful and a definite deal breaker. Looking at the packaging, I saw that they were made in China, of course. No surprise there.I really wish Amazon would show the country of manufacture prominently in the description, because I imagine there are a lot of people like me who would choose to avoid stuff made in China (not Taiwan ROC).Anyhow, it's been two days of sitting outside in the bright sunlight and a couple of thunderstorms, yet they still stink. Will probably return them, I think. If I show up to the UPS store and the box smells like kerosene, I'll probably get put on a government watch list so I may just have to throw them out.

Living in Southwest Texas, I wear a lot of flip flops during the Summer. The SMajong Men’s Flip Flops are very comfortable, due to the molded arch support. They also feature non-slip sole traction, which will be great to have on wet surfaces. As a matter of fact, my wife and I are going on a trip to the beach next week, so these babies are going with me. These sports thong sandals will be great indoors, as well as outdoors, since they can get wet without any problems. The only issue I found was that they used a faux leather tab on the strap cross-section tip, and I would have preferred that it be real leather. Other than that, the price is very reasonable for the craftsmanship and quality of the rest of the materials. Hence, I'm giving the SMajong Men’s Flip Flops 4 stars.

They are a bit on the large side, I probably could have ordered a half size down.. However, they don't have them smaller sized but I can deal with them being a bit too big. I won't have the straps digging into my feet when my feet are swelled up!!! Love the look, Cory comfortable and love how my feet don't seem to sweat or stuck to these like some flip flops do on very humid, hot days. I definitely would buy more in different colors. Very poor quality.Just after two weeks the threads started to fall a part .
