This blackout tent is the best. We needed it for cottage trips where the blinds aren’t good / there were no blinds (used on a porch). It worked like a charm and the baby slept till 7am no issues! Took him a couple sleeps (eg one night and one nap) to get used to it but then he was fine. It has good ventilation (we left them all open) and he didn’t seem too hot in there or anything when he woke up. Note it’s not really supposed to go over a full size crib so it looks stretched in the pics but it is a stretchy material and worked totally fine. Would fit properly over a pack n play.

We had a tough time putting our 3 month old daughter down for naps when we were out and about at other people's houses. We were told about the slumber pod by a friend and we decided to spend the money and see how it went. This product is a game changer for naps times. It is easy to set up, completely black out, has pouches to hold sound machine, camera, fan, etc. We are going camping a lot this summer and this will be perfect. The cost up front is a little high but trust me, it's worth the investment. The slumber pod saved our sanity when it came to naps on the go.

I purchased this item for travelling with my baby. I wanted to create a dark space for him to sleep in while we were still sharing the same hotel room.1. I found it easy and straight forward to assemble2. Easy to compress it and it all goes into small portable carry bag3. You can put the slumber tent over your playpen/crib - make sure you see the dimensions of your playpen/crib first.4. It creates 100% blackout5. Theres a zip down window if you want to peek in6. Theres an area in the top to place your baby monitor if you need to7. The material is breathableThe only con is the price. It is pricey. However, if your baby needs a separate dark space, this definitely does the job.

We travel a lot with our now 19 month old. He’s a good sleeper but is used to having all sleep in a blackout room by himself. We always try and find places where he can have his own room but, economically, it just doesn’t always work out. We have a lot of family cottage trips this summer where we all have to share a room so we figured we would try this out- WHAT A GAME CHANGER!We are finally able to share a (not at all blackout) room as a family and have our son sleep peacefully with no distractions. We’ve used this successfully 3 times now and will continue to!PROS:- very blackout- pockets for sound machine/ camera/ fan on both the top and sides- well made- compact size to travel with and fairly small even when assembled (not much bigger that a pack and play and not too tall)CONS- the poles are tricky to get into place in a tight space. Not impossible but definitely not “easy”. If in a spacious room, no problems at all!- although the fabric is breathable, it still tends to get quite warm/ stale air inside. I recommend a fan inside one of the pockets if you’re in rooms without good airflow or a small space.- although the fabric, zippers, pole are well made - the footing for the poles gets a lot of tension. The stitching is already pulling away from what foot and will need to be reinforced soon. All in all - SO worth it! My son actually loves hanging out inside like it’s his own little personal space.

*Update*I reached out to the seller regarding the hole. They responded withon a day. After providing some information and the photos, they are sending a replacement._______Right out of the box, this product looked very promising and indeed can be pretty compact for travel. The instructions were attached to the travel bag, so I appreciate that they won't get easily lost and anyone should be able to read and assemble. The instructions were easy enough to understand, but getting the other end of the pole in the end cap/slot can be a bit tricky and might be easier with two people. I found it easier to assemble in a more open area, due to the poles being so long, and then just placing it over the pack-and-play (PnP).Upon assembly though, I noticed a small hole on one side. It seems small now, but already, after a few days of use, I can see it will probably get bigger over time assembling and disassembling when we travel, and we travel often. I reached out to the seller in hopes of getting a replacement. But for now, because it works so well in helping my baby stay asleep, I will continue to use until I hear from them.It really does keep it dark in there. Even in front of my south-facing windows, although some light comes through, it's not enough to cause any issues. The vents are helpful, but we still use a fan in the upper fan pocket to help keep it cool enough when zipped up. Otherwise, it will get hot and stuffy inside. I also like the fact that there is a pocket for a baby monitor. However, the plastic can make it tricky to place. Any wrinkle in it makes it impossible to see past it, so I have to spend quite a bit of time playing with it to get a clear image. But once set up, it's great to keep an eye on baby.
