Yeah, they went nuts over it, and had to buy a 2nd one. Excellent quality. Have no negatives for it. My bet is that this is such a well made product, the bee reproductive success rate went up. The mason bees have learned where the houses are, which is interesting since this specfic type doesn't live that long, so experts claim. In the harshest part of winter, I do put them in the garage for a couple of months. I did not hang them, but parked them in a sheltered patio area on a table. Bees happy, so never moved them. Some of my friends have fruit trees. Guess what's for Christmas this next year?

Solid and lasting cedar with layers. Drills slots in layers create the nesting tubes bees like. A copper top roof crown is a nice protective add.

I love the bee 🐝 house. Time will tell if bees love it as well. Nobody moved in as of yet.
