String broke, too snug to actually fit an led strip though without a lot of time and hassle

La tira está un poco angosta por lo que es complicado poner dentro la tira led aún con la curda que incluye para jalar ya que está muy justa y se rompió

wanted to liven up the den/computer room as i have trophies on display, had a roll of led strips and needed something to defuse the light and clean up the look, made sure that this would be the correct size but was a large struggle to get them in the channels, ended up cutting the bottoms up and feeding them in that way as it wouldn't be visible.

Like most of you, I was looking to diffuse my LEDs at a quality cost. Once installed, these silicone channels do the trick! BUT they are so amazingly difficult to install. You are going to need clips to mount to the wall because absolutely nothing sticks to silicone. The LEDs will not slide through the channel, especially using the provided string. I even tried to feed it through with aluminum wire, no luck. You will need something sharp like an X-ACTO knife to cut the back of the strip all the way down the middle (in one cut). Then you can fit the LEDs in the channel. Corners will not look flush unless you fit the clips (not provided) at just the right distance from wall corners. In total, this project took me about 10 hours to install. This includes the mistakes I made on the first install. The last install took roughly 4 hours after I knew what I was doing. With some patience and attention to detail, these can give the professional look you might want but you will need extra materials and time to make it look nice. I would not undo this project, I learned a lot from it and the materials fit my budget, but I would be cautious to recommend because I was very frustrated over days of install and the project is easy to mess up.Here are the clips I used (the fit perfect):NGeGe 100Pcs LED Neon Mounting... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1BLT5ZM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_shareI saved some time and work by mounting the corners and halfway points with screws, and using alien tape on the supporting clips. Without anchoring those specific points with screws, any adhesive will eventually fall.

The size of the tube is not forgiving. It comes with a very fine piece of string to use to slide the LED strip, however, it will break on you. It happened several times and ended up tossing everything in the trash. Also if you are thinking about adhesion, it will NOT stick. Overall, it cut too much light off my light strip, when I need the brightness, so it was a complete wast of money and time.

Only way to insert the LED strip through the channel is by the string provided. That string snapped half way through because the channel wasn’t straight enough. Any little curve will death grip the LED strip and make it impossible to pass through.I had to cut the side of the channel to pass the LED strip through the rest of it.They provide a RUBBER C-bracket to hold the channel on a wall. If that bracket touches the screw while screwing into the wall, it will also death grip the screw until the rubber tears and makes it useless.Nothing about this is good and a waste of $20 and 4 hours.
