As far as a computer stand goes, this works terrific. As far as an anti-cat keyboard/mouse protector...it's definitely tall enough for hand clearance, so you don't have to worry about your wrists/arms bumping or scraping against it when you try to type. You just have to get something (like cardboard or tape) to cover up the sides (and maybe the back) to keep the cat from trying to attack you while you work (like mine is right now). Because it's so high he finds great joy in trying to crawl under it, but now I have a shelf to deposit him on when I pull him out.

excellent riser for monitors. purchased two. easy assembly, look great adds storage with 4 9/16" clearance below.using 1 for 32" monitor and 1 for 2 27" monitors. like 'em.

I spent several days searching for a monitor stand that would accommodate my monitor's bulky base and fit on my small desk. This stand is perfect for that purpose; it has the width needed to support a monitor with a more extensive base. It is very stylish, and there is still extra space with my monitor. I would highly recommend it. I have limited resources as a single mother returning to school, so I'm providing an honest review. I will give you a picture later.

The rise with this metal and glass computer/TV stand is absolutely perfect!!! It made all the difference in my ability to view my TV while sitting or lying down on the couch. I’m able to, now, place both my DVD player and my VHS player/recorder (yes, I still record on VHS!) underneath it. It allowed me to get rid of the glass tower that previously held those items.
