We have to retighten this helmet every time our son wears it. It is not secure and doesn’t seem safe. I’d splurge for a more expensive brand. Unfortunately we are out of our return window, otherwise we would return it immediately.

This is for kids who don't always want the kitted-up look when out on the bike- especially for casual rides and quick trips to the park or school. So, when it's time to leave the spandex and lycra at home, this is the helmet to wear!It sits on the head well enough, and you look more like an equestrian than an extra from Spaceballs. I have an older Bern helmet and this looks smart and a little more stylish in comparison.Fit is good and easily adjustable. Ventilation is adequate. That said, we live in a very mild climate that rarely climbs over 70 degrees. So, I don't expect to test the limits of airflow on this one. Besides, kids can wear a roadie or mtb helmet if they plan on hoofin' it and working up a sweat.The only hiccup was the white piping around the edge of the helmet. It appears to be glued on. This trim has already curled a little on the inside of the helmet and, while it is not noticeable from the outside, it doesn't lend much confidence to its long-term durability. My concern is that it will continue to lift and eventually peel off. Given that this is a high-touch location on the helmet, why not just finish the edge smooth and apply a white accent? It seems like a really odd design choice on an otherwise great piece of gear. I'll be sure to update this review if it continues to wear.

As well as a great protection of course!Stylish old school helmet for my son, that he loves to wear and doesn’t feel pressured when I ask him to put it on.

I ordered this because I needed a helmet to fit my 10 year daughter's head for bike riding. It fits my daughter’s head well but the chin strap doesn't quite fit her under the chin in regards to the chin padding anyway so it sits off center. However, she does love that it came with stickers that she can attach onto the helmet to give it her own look. It definitely feels sturdy overall and not cheaply made and the stickers are a nice touch.
