Love these for homemade ramen. The wood chopsticks are easer to use for ramen and other Asian dishes. I have some of the pretty painted chopsticks but these are easier to use. These also break easily for use.

I do not know why these have so many negative reviews. I did not count, but the quantity looks right. A few have small splinters, bug negligible (did them in water before use). I will definitely buy these great priced chopsticks again! I give them away and haven't heard any complaints

I grew up in Japan and always got disposable chopsticks much like these with meals. I've had better, but I've had much, much worse. They are the square tipped variety, which are more common in Japan, as opposed to the rounded tipped ones. Also, they are made with one piece of wood rather than two, so they always match up (I'm looking at you cheap disposable chinese style chopsticks). Are they as good as really expensive disposable chopsticks or moderate reusable? No, of course not. But at around 6.5 cents a pair, I can live with that.*note - Like all chopsticks of this fashion, they do have slivers. Brushing them together really doesn't work and is actually quite rude in some cultures. Instead, dip them in your water glass or stick them in your mouth for a few seconds and the slivers won't bother you.

I discovered my lovebird loved chopsticks when I purchased some sushi at a local grocery store and picked up a few sets of cheap wooden chopsticks that were offered with the sushi. In order to get more chopsticks I felt that I had to buy more sushi, I don't like sushi and was only getting it for my grandkids when they were over my house. My little bird could chew through the couple of pair of chopsticks in no time and I knew that I just had to find a good supply for him.I decided to check Amazon for some disposable chopsticks and found these. They are absolutely perfect. The price is right, my bird loves them, he goes through about three or four sets a day. It keeps him very busy and a busy bird is a happy bird!!I will make sure to have an adequate supply of these as long as I have my little boy!
