These are GREAT mechanical, center-pull, dual pivot caliper brakes!Wish I would have had these A LONG TIME AGO!Very easy to install EXCEPT, I needed to either use two Rear Mount Brakes (longer center-mount screw needed) to easily mount the brakes. So I used the Rear-Mount Brakes on the Front, through the crown of the forks.Used the Front-Mount Brakes on the Rear, through the seat stay bridge, via manipulation of parts from the no longer used Día-Compe brakes.Otherwise, I would have NOT been able to mount these brakes! Supposedly, from the User Manual supplied with the brakes, the Front-Brakes, have a longer screw, than the Rear-Brakes... really? Why? Especially with going through the crown of the forks?I may have this backwards... but advise you to be aware! But in any case, one brake has a shorter mounting bolt than the other! I need to ask, is it necessary to have this, couldn’t you just have both brakes with the longer bolt and be done with it!?Maybe this would be helpful, for those that are reading my scribble...Mounted these brakes on a:1982 Schwinn Traveler Road BikeAgain, FANTASTIC Upgrade To The Bike, didn’t want to go to disc-brakes or DI-2!After installation, DEFINITELY NOT going disc-brakes, NO NEED!Now the next project... upgrading the drivetrain to 11 speed! Debating 3x or 2x, Tiagra (3x) or Ultegra (2x) Groupsets, need those low gears!Chro-Moly frame... so rear stays, should spread!

Como suele ser habitual en los puentes de Shimano; la calidad de la frenada es excelente: potente y a la vez modulable y progresiva y sin síntomas de holgura alguna. Por contra, señalar que el precio a pagar por ello es un peso superior al de los puentes de marcas rivales de precio similar

ottimi , gli ho montati in sostituzione sulla mia bici frenata ottima modulata sembra avere un servo freno , appena si toccano le leve sono già efficaci .
