Me agrada que se piedan desmontar los platos para futuras actualizaciones. Se nota la calidad comparado con las que trae de fábrica mi bicicleta low cost. El envio llego antes de lo indicado.

My bike isn't pro, but I could easily overpower the cranks it came with. These are a step up and work well. Fits your average Giant, Trek, Cannondale, some Specialized. Great price! Don't forget a new chain using the same amount of links just better to fit the newer part with a new chain.Thanks.

Bought this as a returned "used" item. Previous owner tried it on a existing BB. They found out they needed a 122.5mm spindle as witness marks on inner ring bolts show contact with something. Used this to replace a FC-CT90 Altus, Shimano still recalls. Bike shop wanted to screw me on the recall so I replaced myself. Shimano would of replaced the CT90 with a M131 Tourney crank with riveted chain rings. For almost same price this Acera fell in my lap. Replaced the BB with a UN300 68x122.5mm, the CT90E FD with a M310 and swapped the steel 42T chain ring for a Corki 38T to match high gearing of the original 95' Mongoose Threshold 3X6. This crank is beefy and beautiful.Update: 1/2/21. 95' Mongoose Threshold 3x6 chain line (130mm frame) was around 44mm. Shimano says 47.5/50mm chain line so I got a 123mm BB. Front chain line came out 50.8mm, rear still 44.5mm. Wanted closer to the 44mm chain line after I replaced FH to a 7 speed ( a 96' option). Found out Shimano recommended BB is to accommodate 135-142mm rear dropouts and thicker frame tubes. This crank works fine with the original 68 X 116mm CT90 BB. Chain line right at 47.8mm and within the FD-M310 range for proper shifting.Update: 1/22/21. Shimano UN300 68x118mm is proper BB for 130mm steel dropout FRAMES. Gives around a 46mm front chain line and works with the M310 FD.

I love being able to apply torque again to my pedals without worrying about the chain skipping! This crankset seems very solidly made. I am particularly fond of the smaller gearing (43/32/22) of the chainrings, because it gives me a feeling of power when pedaling. The item arrived in a retail box which included not only the pictured right crank with the gear rings, but the matching left crank as well. The pedal holes are about 1/2" in diameter. There is a very helpful little peg which extends from the largest gear, almost all the way to the crank arm, which prevents the chain from getting wedged down in that crevice, should it happen to ride up and over the largest chain ring.Other thoughts:A buyer ought to be aware that there are two standard sizes of square taper bottom bracket spindles - JIS (a standard used by Shimano and most other Japanese made parts makers) and ISO (a standard used by Campagnolo and in most European-made parts). My bottom bracket happens to be ISO, so the square post is a fraction of a millimeter too small for this Shimano crankset. In practice, this meant that the geared right crank fit up further onto the bottom bracket shaft than it ought to have, making it so that the front derailleur could only shift between the middle and largest chain rings. It would not shift to the smallest one.The simple fix for this that I discovered, was simply to wrap the right square taper knob in one layer of material from an aluminum soda pop can. I let a little rim of the material fold vertically across the end of the crankshaft so that it would stay in place as I mounted the crank. This was exactly the right size of shim to allow my new Shimano crank to fit at the place on the square taper that my derailleur is targeted for.

No problems with installation. Not the lightest product available but very reasonably priced and very good quality construction. Perfect gear range for my intended purpose.
