I got a good deal on these, one day they were like 40-50% off a 12 pack, BUT within two months half of them have broken. Unless your REALLY light with them, they are prone to breaking. The internal components of the lock itself are all plastic, the only metal on the lock is the bolt itself, which overtime degrades the plastic causing locks to fail.Spend the extra money and get something nicer, it'll be worth it.

Kids just reached the age where they can explore a bit further. This was enough for the whole crew and the ability to set the passcode helped to ensure there were no mix ups. The attachment for the frame means they always have it. So far, their bikes have not been taken.

I got the 12 pack of combination locks for our kayaks and bikes. They work fine, like any combo lock, but the smell was so strong when I opened the package that I got an allergic reaction to whatever chemical it was and they’ll be living outside until it offgasses (might take weeks). So plan for that.

The locks are fine however the mounts for the bikes for the locks are cheap plastic and both mounts have already broken. Mfg needs to upgrade to a metal version.
