Absolutely the BEST! Touch screen is smooth and perfect with temperature and humidity readings clear and visible. The speed and ease of installment was also a breeze. Built in with energy saving tips and tailored usage reports. Easily connects to Wifi. After having to change our thermostat every two years at such a high cost, we decided to give Sensi a try. We have a Central Air Unit that was built in the 70’s that Sensi connected to with no problems. Our Furnace is separate and Gas - again, Sensi has no issues connecting. It has ran perfectly since our purchase and installing.

This is the best smart thermostat I ever had, and I have gone through 3! Installing the thermostat should have been a breeze, but I had a 50/50 chance of picking the right terminal and got it wrong. After a 5 minute conversation with tech support, I made the correction and it was done. I got 3 remote sensors and placed the in 3 of the 4 extreme corners of the house: best accessories purchased! It will support 15 sensors! The end result is the house has more temperature uniformity throughout! In the 40 years of living in my house, this has been the most comfortable it has ever been! The Sensi app is simple and intuitive, just like the thermostat screen! Both are well-designed, easy to understand, and easy to control. After using the Sensi Touch 2 for three weeks, I am elated with my purchase.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this thermostat and would suggest picking up four remote sensors. I got the fourth one and it made a significant improvement overall!

This device is 100% better than my old thermostat. It has great features. Setting up, or editing a schedule was tedious and frustrating with tho old device, and there were only four set points available; sleep, wake, leave and return. I always wanted at least one more time slot. Well, now I have as many as I want.Installation was really easy due to the very detailed instructions, which also provided help with any problems that you might encounter. You can set options directly on the thermostat or through the app. Every option is available either way.The only issue I had was setting up Wi-Fi. I kept losing the connection. I would stumble through the installation, perhaps get connected, only to have it fail, or just have the sequence say "unable to connect: after spinning it's wheels for minutes at a time.IMPORTANT NOTE:I discovered two things that weren't made clear:First, there is a pin number for the setup. You can access it where the QR code display pops up. If you scan the code, it takes you to a web page that I didn't find particularly helpful. But you can bypass scanning the QR code and access the pin directly for a more direct path to the setup. If I remember correctly, below the QR code, the pop-up says something like 'scan the code or use the pin.' If you want a thorough explanation, click "Use the pin." Good for an initial setup, but mostly unnecessary for repeated attempts.Second, the pin CHANGES, apparently on each failed attempt. At first, I copied the pin and re-used it, thinking it was static. It took several failures before I noticed my copied pin was different from the pin presented with each failure. So some of my frustration was from this little mistake in my original assumption. I'm not sure if the pin changed once I got the Wi-Fi established. It's been stable now for at least 24 hours.I really love this device! I wish Amazon carried the remote sensors for this thermostat.Addendum:Shortly after I wrote this review, I found the Sensi remote room sensors available for less than $40 each, so I bought two for about $80 + tax, Free delivery slated for about 7 days, but they arrived early; in just two days. I was very pleased. The uneven cooling of remote rooms has much improved.I didn't think I'd use the app much, but it's very handy for quick changes when I'm working at my desk or reading, watching TV or in bed. I actually use it a lot. It's been about a month and the Bluetooth connection has been steady and very reliable. It was a great improvement and an excellent investment.

Overall, the Sensi Touch 2 was easy to install and functions as a thermostat should. It is connected to a two-stage LP furnace. It is -14 degrees this morning and my two-stage furnace is not meeting heat demands. The thermostat has boost, long, medium and short cycles which area function of time and not demand. The reason I purchased a two-stage furnace is that on low fire, the furnace may run a long time before the high fire begins. It has a feature which bring the room up to temperature at the programmed time which is better than most other thermostats which start the process at the programmed time. I wonder if it uses outdoor temperature and a leaning algorithm to determine heat loss. Not compatible with Apple Homekit. I don't need Siri to turn the heat up or down.I have a furnace technician called to assess maters. Furnace checks out and both low and high fire work correctly. The thermostat was believed to be short cycling...The furnace was found to be defective!! The thermostat even sent messages stating so! It could not be diagnosed correctly as the HVAC tech kept cycling power erasing error codes… Need to find a new HVAC tech!I APPLAUD Sensi. Nice product and easy to use. We are now comfortable.

I'm an experienced HVAC professional and have installed hundreds of thermostats. The Seinsi 2 touch thermostat impresses with its sleek and high-quality design, featuring a glass touch screen that brings to mind the aesthetics of an iPhone. While it has several notable strengths, it falls short in critical areas. One significant drawback is the absence of essential features like the ability to schedule fan modes and adjust temperature override time. The most glaring deficiency is the lack of a built-in option to share access via the thermostat's app. This is a standard feature that Honeywell (now Resido) has offered for over a decade. When I reached out to Copeland about this issue, their response was disappointing, suggesting that the only workaround is sharing login information. This is far from a practical solution and raises security concerns.Furthermore, the app lacks a fundamental grouping feature, which is especially important for users with multiple thermostats. While Copeland does mention a SaaS application for $1.50 per month per device that allows group management, it appears as if they are attempting to monetize a feature that competitors like Honeywell offer as a native part of their product. On a positive note, the Seinsi 2 touch thermostat shines in specific areas. The tipping point setting for heat pumps is exceptional and thoughtfully designed. Additionally, the thermostat exhibits intelligence by notifying users if it suspects any issues, such as prolonged heating times. Installation is a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly app that provides step-by-step guidance for wiring and WiFi setup. Lastly, the contractor branding feature is a standout addition. In conclusion, my hope is that Copeland considers enhancing the thermostat by adding these basic app features to remain competitive in the market. Despite its strengths, the absence of crucial functionalities and the need for additional paid services make it fall short in comparison to some of its rivals.
