Love everything about this hook. Wish they made it in a few larger sizes. Largest is a 4mm.

I love this hook. It is smooth and easy to use. My carpal tunnel didn’t flare up while making the tiny crochet stitches in my amigurumi. It had a nice grip. Good price.

The package shows this being used with the pencil technique, which I am learning. That's not to say it can't be used with the knife hold, because I've tried that too. The handle is different than what I am used to, but hopefully I'll get used to it. Honestly, the hook is one of the best I have used, with zero drag.

I've been crocheting for over 30 yrs and have been using the same hooks over and over. I'm a creature of habit. I don't know what got into me, but when I saw this hook, I wanted to give it a try.The first thing I noticed was the ergonomic design. I don't know if the photos accurately depict this or not, but the base of the handle (where the hook size is engraved- not printed) is smaller than the rest of the hook. This more narrow area fits very well in my hand (my pinky finger curves comfortably around it). The base or bottom of the hook is wider, which prevents slipping.Moving from the bottom of the hook up to the base of the handle, the hook widens again, to offer a nice grip for my middle and index fingers. The hook handle is made of plastic but in this area there is a soft silicone pad where my thumb rests. Now we get to the neck or shaft of the hook. This is made of stainless steel so it's not going to break anytime soon. lol The shaft is long, which is nice. Most plastic hooks I've seen have a shorter shaft which doesn't work for me. This area of the hook also curves upward. I guess it's part of the ergonomic design ( I haven't quite figured it out yet) but I believe it aids in grabbing the yarn while stitching (at least that is what I've noticed). The head or tip of the hook is my favorite part. The very tip has a nice point to it, which allows you to get into tight spaces. The actual hook part...I forget what it's called... (that grabs the yarn) could be a little deeper, but it works. Now, as far as usage, it took me a few minutes to get used to this new design and I have to admit, it's very nice. I tested it with a #3 DK weight and a #4 acrylic. The hook was smooth and comfortable. I may even go so far as to say it's becoming my favorite hook. I may have to look into buying a set!The only thing that would make this hook better, is if the plastic was replaced with silicone or another type of soft material. With that said, this is definitely a hook worth purchasing. Just give yourself time to find your mojo and go!

I absolutely love this correct hook! Bamboo is a hard yarn to crochet due to it splitting so much but this hook makes it so much easier! I just wish they have bigger sizes!
