Los compré principalmente para trabajo en mezcla y master, muy buena respuesta de frecuencia y sonido relativamente plano, aunque para hacerlo realmente plano uso soundID, en cuanto a la calidad de construcción y materiales es impecable, son de plástico pero se nota que es plástico de buena calidad, eso sí, al principio la diadema aprieta bastante, me dió migraña al usarlo por primera vez, aunque se amolda después de un rato y se vuelven cómodos con el tiempo

La verdad me encantaron, suenan muy bien con el toque de bajos exactos. Pide también un cable, porque el que traen es enorme de 3mts terminado en 6.3mm con adaptador a 3.5mm. si necesitas usarlo con un amplificador o dongle externo el celular lo levanta a un volúmen medio. Pero valen cada peso. Este es el segundo que pido. Lo mega recomiendo.

Simplemente son fantásticos, el sonido no es muy comercial, pero es genial, tiene un realce en los graves que le da un toque muy padre a la música. Los utilizo con un IFI Zen Can y suenan geniales. También los he probado con Fiio M11 y siento que le hace falta potencia. En ese sentido necesitas buena amplificación. Recuerden que es muy subjetivo esto del audio, pero si te gusta el rock, metal, grunge, brith pop, progresivo, pop, los vas a disfrutar mucho.

I was really impressed by itself, aluminum-made earcups, steel-made headband and some other parts and features. Of course, I am very satisfied with its breathtakingly clear sound with Variable Bass function. I think it is one of SENNHEISER’s masterpieces!

La verdad es que se podría decir que apenas voy iniciando en este camino de la “audiofilia” por lo cual no he probado una gran variedad de audifonos, sin embargo puedo decir que estos son los mejores audifonos que he probado hasta ahora, se siente bastante natural y puro el sonido, la separación de instrumentos y el sound stage es buena pero no perfecta, sin embargo para alguien como yo que va iniciando o que no es muy exigente/detallista en eso van perfecto, los bajos es de lo mejor en estos audífonos se sienten bastante bien de verdad, lo que si es que sin duda por su alta impedancia requiere de un amplificador o cuando menos un dac/amp porque por si solos no logran brindar su máxima capacidad, yo los utilizo con un zen air dac y un zen air can, van super bien para mis necesidades y gustos, pienso quedarme con esta combinación por varios años (si tienes el presupuesto medio apretado y no sabes que dac o amp comprar yo diría que si te alcanza solo para alguno entre el air dac y air can te recomendaría el zen air dac porque es amplificador también y con el power match aunque no le puedas sacar a lo mejor el 100% a los audifonos la verdad es que hace un parote y se escucha de una manera mas que decente yo diría muy buena).

Me llegó con la caja golpeada lo que me llevó a revisarlos mejor, me encontré con una abolladura en la malla exterior del audífono derecho, nunca me había pasado recibir un producto asi, dentro de todo recibí buena atención para la devolución. Los minutos que los tuve en mis manos se me hicieron de una calidad que deja mucho que desear, no parecen audífonos de 500 dlls . En cuanto al sonido, se escuchan muy parecido a mis Beyerdynamic 770pro 250ohms .

Yo vengo de usar unos Sennheiser HD599, los cuales me gustaron bastante pero con el tiempo quise probar unos audífonos de alta impedancia, hice el upgrade a los hifiman He-400i, los cuales me decepcionaron bastante, aunque tenían buen soundstage, la nitidez era a expensas de resaltar las frecuencias agudas, los medios se perdían mucho y las voces y algunos instrumentos como el sax (escucho mucho jazz) carecían mucho de cuerpo, así que decidí probar estos HD650. No me arrepiento, son justo lo que buscaba, la nitidez es impresionante, no abusa de los agudos, el sonido es muy balanceado, cálido, excelente imaging y soundstage, definitivamente el sonido de la firma de sennheiser es calidad garantizada, yo los compré por 6500 en diciembre 2019. Los uso con un amplificador topping a30. Estos son la versión 2019, vienen en la caja negra, llegaron en perfectas condiciones.

It’s a curse to the wallet but yet it’s a blessing in the sense that headphones are a magical journey of taking two of your senses (hearing and touch) to whole new levels you may never experience by simply just by being in it. With so many headphones out there, there’s that many ways to explore audio and more! Exciting, right?I am an audiophile and have a room dedicated to my headphones as well as listening. Audio is an incredible passion of mine and I want to share my take on these 650s!1: So, Sennheiser is among the crem-de-la-crem (pardon the spelling) of headphone producers.2: Sennheiser is a great brand to get into headphones when you’re new to it. It’s also got great value for performance. You honestly can’t go wrong with them.3: If you’re on a budget and can really only afford to just have that one or two pairs of headphones. The Sennheiser 650’s are a jack of all trades with its sound profile. They are a definite buy for sure! Paired with a Khadas Tone Board and JDS Labs Atom, you can have a pretty top tier, affordable setup. For real sides!4: These work well with so many different types of DACS and amps. I personally pair them with THX789’s from Mass/Drop, Khadas Tone Board, or my Okto Research 8’s. The THX 788 made by Monoprice is a nice combo DAC/AMP.5. In terms of the Sennheiser line, there’s the boss tier (not necessary at all to own) like 800 and 820s. There’s the studio recording line denoted by PRO. There’s the lower end with the 598 and below. The 600 range (where these headphones sit at) is the sweet spot of excellence.If you want a bass-y emphasized performance, go with the 58X from Drop.com. They’re the resurrected Jubilees which are an updated, updated version of the HD580s. These are super solid, great for listening for long periods. You can’t go wrong. You can plug these into a device without an amp and get great volume.If you want super duper separated sound with ridiculous detail with more revealing performance in the highs and mid/highs, the 600s are your go to headphones! They’re very objective (an audiophile term generally meaning “as-is” or “unemphasized” as possible). With the wrong setup, they can sometimes even be a little sibilant.The 650s are truly the Goldilocks of the HD600 line. These emphasize the mids much more than the others. It’s often considered a sin by some audiophiles to use EQ functionality to adjust the sound. I can say that the 650s are at that point where they can be lightly EQ-ed to offer more bass and treble response.Now, onto the last thing that I think is important to mention — these have been replaced and succeeded by the Sennheiser 660s. They’re a worthy successor to replace the 650s. They are pretty close in frequency response. However, the upgrade comes with the comfort (clamp force) and the consistency of the drivers to produce frequencies. What does that translate to?- The HD660s really do a good job of sounding good with vocals, slightly less warm, and sound good without a lot of readjustment on your ears. They’re on the brighter side than the HD650. The brightness is a personal preference kind of thing. For some, they might like this for classical music. For some, they may find themselves hitting user fatigue sooner than the 650.My opinion: The HD650 are still my go despite the update with the 660s. I think that the 660s is wonderful but I prefer to stick the HD650s because of their versatility. I can listen to them for hours! It’s a great starting spot for audiophile tier headphones that will always, always be my daily headphones for all kinds of music. They’re also a great starting spot as well as a great spot to end on.Additionally, I would check out the Sundara by Hifiman if you’re wanting to explore planars. Los mejores audífonos que he tenido hasta ahora!! Son unos audífonos que te permiten escuchar con gran detalle tu música ya que tienen un sonido muy pero muy bien balanceado por lo que es muy fácil poder disfrutar de todos los géneros musicales, y te permiten apreciar y descubrir nuevos detalles en cada canción. Por otro lado son muy cómodos al grado de poder tenerlos más de 5 horas puestos y olvidar que están ahí. Al ser unos audífonos abiertos sobre la oreja te permite tener fresca esta área en todo momento y el ruido exterior se minimiza en gran medida. Si tienes un amplificador a bulbos o un digital vas a poder explotar la potencia real de estos audífonos pero no te preocupes si no cuentas con uno, con solo usar tu celular o tu pc sonarán estupendamente! No dudes ni un momento en comprarlos si realmente eres un purista y un entusiasta de la música, trata de agarrar una oferta de ellos aquí en Amazon. Yo los compre por menos de 6 mil pesos y realmente han válido cada centavo que invertí en ellos. Realmente sennheiser demuestra en estos y en cualquiera de sus otros productos el porque es un de los grandes exponentes en este ramo de la música.

I have been using these for a few days now and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. I have been using the HD 598s almost daily for three years now. The reason I got these is because I was dissatisfied with the low end on the 598s.Just some background; I have owned the 280 pro, HD 518, HD 598, and now made the jump to the HD 650. I will be comparing these mostly with the 598s and the 518s.As far as comfort goes they compress the head a bit more than the 598s and the 518s, but they are not uncomfortable. The only noticeable discomfort would be below the ear where the bottom of the can presses against my jawbone. After a few hours this starts to annoy me, but simply moving them around provides relief so this is nothing. I would definitely say the 598s are more comfortable for extended periods, but the 650s feel more solid on the head. I haven't experienced any major warm spots even after long periods of use. The cans do keep my ears warmer than the 598s, but nowhere near as bad as the 518s used to. My main complaint about the 518s was how hot they would make my head due to the lower quality material and padding used. The 650s are nowhere near the 518s in this regard. Also, the headband on the 650s is narrower than both the 598 and 518. I found this to be a very noticeable difference since the compression is higher and have had to adjust it often. It just feels weird, but this is something I'll get used to with time since I've been using the 598s for so long.The build quality is extremely solid, but the plastic feels cheaper than I would like. It doesn't make me feel uneasy about breaking though. This is mostly the outside of the cans and top of the headband. The outside grills are metal and the cushions are high quality. The included cord is nicer than what comes with both the 598 and 518, but is special since the 650 uses one input per can. The included 1/4 to 3.5 adapter is way better in my opinion since it has cord length. The included adopters with the 528s and 598s were a single adapter piece which looked like a freakishly long Frankenstein plug when used with a portable device. This adapter keeps the cable end at the typical 3.5 size so it looks normal and doesn't cause unneeded stress on the contact or the output jacks. The old adapter actually caused me to break a couple laptop outputs while being careless. I wish this adapter was included with all the other models.I'm no experienced audiophile so I'm probably going to sound like a child explaining the sound. These have been described in other reviews as being "dark" sounding. I'm not sure what that means, but after using them I think I kind of get it. My 598s were very bright and almost airy sounding. The treble was very distinct, the soundstage was amazing, but the bass was very low key and had little impact which is good in some cases. The 650s definitely have more bass impact and I can concur that it is "punchy". I can enjoy electronic and hard rock on these much better. While the bass is heavier on these it is still crisp and accurate, not boomy or overpowering. The treble is still very present, but does seem a bit rolled off to me. The sound is not what I would call bright at all, and the soundstage is definitely smaller than the 598s. The overall sound seems more focused and impactful in comparison. I am amazed at how much more detail I was able to pick out in some of my favourite songs which I thought was impossible at this point. These really surprised me at how clear the entire range was. Now for web videos or Skype calls these were not as enjoyable to me. These made me well aware that I was not listening to high quality sources and since the sound is more focused and narrow when compared to the 598s voice calls can actually annoy me. This was something the 598s do extremely well, but this wasn't the reason I purchased these.I guess it should be mentioned that the sound leakage on these is much higher even when compared with the 598s and 518s.These headphones are hard to drive. It's been said everywhere and should be expected given these are 300ohm cans. I haven't had much experience with high resistance headphones so this is venturing into new territory for me. I had a small fiio amp with my 598s which increased the quality, but wasn't really needed for my main application so I got rid of it. I can DEFINITELY see where I would want that back now. Forget about using these with something like an iPhone. At max volume these were so quiet I couldn't enjoy them at all. On my 15" MacBook running boot camp I was only able to achieve a moderate volume with a few software tweaks that I would never use daily and hindered the overall sound. Now, my MacBook running OSX was actually able to push these fairly well. This is the only way I have to actually enjoy them right now. The sound is great and depending on the track, the volume could go above my comfort level with OSX. I will be purchasing a dac/amp combo for my system very soon and I feel like this will really open these up and sound even better. I should have factored this into my price, but luckily I have my Mac that can push these decently until I save up more.The price on these is very reasonable. I'm a little mad because I payed the same for these as I did for my 598s at the time. Also, I think this is the only time ive seen UK Amazon have a better price than the US on these. I was able to save about 100 usd on these even with the VAT and shipping.Overview: I really like my decision to "upgrade" to these. I quoted upgrade because it really can't be said that these are better than my 598s. Each has a noticeably different personality and I'd say it all depends on the application. The 598s excel in acoustic listening, voice calls, and movies due to its wide soundstage and crystal clear upper range. I wanted to move from the 598s because my heavier bass heavy music was lacklustre and the highs would get fatiguing to me when listening to the majority of my music (rock). The 650s definitely excel in the music department with a more focused sound and deep, quick, bass with some punch without sacrificing quality of the rest. They do not do well with lower quality sources or voices using Skype. I am very satisfied with these though since I bought them to relieve the bass situation I was having with some of my favourite music.
