The racket is excellent, its size is good, it is light in the hand, and the control is good, although repeated hits remove the paint from its surface. But I am satisfied.

Better than my old one. More controle, softer rebound possible.

I love the Selkirk brand and believe they make good Pickleball paddles.Just like their many branded competitors, their price points for some of their mediocre (compared to their premium) paddles are way above other lesser known or popular ones.Perhaps this particular model does not suit my game as well as I thought it might.I am now using it as a spare or backup.

I've been playing for a couple years now and while not an advanced player I'm not still a rank beginner either. I started with a set of no name paddles and wanted something "better" eventually. I got the Selkirk SLK Latitude 2.0 and could immediately feel the difference. Like most players I thought, well if this paddle was such a big improvement then surely a more expensive paddle will be an even bigger improvement. That couldn't be further from the truth. I have another considerably more expensive Selkirk paddle (Vanguard Control S2) that feels dead compared to the Latitude. I also have another very popular paddle, an Onix Z5 Mod, that seems overly hard, with lots of "pop' for lack of a better word, and is difficult to place softer shots with and is less forgiving on off center hits. I've also played with a Six Zero Infinity Black Diamond that had a very small sweet spot for a top of the line paddle. I also played with a Six Zero Double Black Diamond Control which felt better than the Infinity but still didn't feel as good to me as the SLK Latitude. I know that the Latitude 2.0 is considered a lower end beginner's paddle but for me it is not too lively, not too mushy, but is the Goldilocks of paddles...just right, and the price is right too! I should probably buy a few of them before they quit making them.
