I purchased this as a homeowner who does the occasional project. I was concerned that it might be underpowered since it's 16v and much cheaper than the name-brand competition. It even comes with two batteries a charger and a nice set of driver bits all for about the price of one Dewalt battery! Now that I've tried it I can say it's not underpowered at all. I can't imagine needing more torque than this for those 1/4" shank bits. It drives drywall screws into solid pine quickly and with almost no effort. It's small and light yet feels well-made. I like having a lighter battery in the tool with another one in the charger rather than managing a bigger/heavier one. The grip is comfortable and the controls work smoothly. As long as it proves to be reliable I think this SeeSii 16v brushless cordless driver is an amazing value with more power than I'll ever need. Especially when Amazon has a coupon available! Time will tell but so far I'm very happy and would highly recommend this for noncommercial use.

This thing is a beast in short. This performs on par with some older DeWalt brushless models for a fraction of the price and it comes with 2 batteries talk about the value, while it's not the fastest or the torquoist, it will be a valuable asset to your box considering it's less than a single mainstream battery, it does get warm when impacting for a bit and it's not a quick switch chuck, but it's still a nice versatile little tool. Just to warn you the anvil springs are a bit on the softer end so it impacts a lot faster than some would be used to.

Nice relatively inexpensive drill driver. I throw it in the camper toolbox for general needs and for the camper jacks instead of using the hand crank

I use my makita tools for larger, heavy duty tasks. I moved up to the xgt line and love them. However I quickly that they are very poor at doing light duty tasks, no matter how low the settings are. My 40v impact on it lowest settings can drive a screw straight through 1/4 inch material in under a second. The adjustable trigger and carefull use of it is the only salvation there.I've been using a black & decker impact for 5-6 years on my light duty stuff, but it's very bulky and over sized because it's an old fashioned brushed motor. This seesii drops a good third of the size off the b&d, and the battery is entirely in the grip instead of hanging off the bottom. The is fantastic for working inside cabinetry that's made of thinner melamine or mdf. It's not so over powered that I can instantly blow a hole through it from a screw, while working blind.Home arcade machines have become a big hobby for me and my other tools just aren't ideal for that, because of cramped space inside that can make you work blind of fragile material. This it's great for that work. The biggest drawback is the batteries. They aren't the longest lasting, and can take several hours to charge. But given the price vs size and performance, I'll take it.

If you're looking into a mini impact driver like me, there's a chance you want something that's going to be small and controllable. Emphasis on the last part.I originally intended for this to replace my aging subcompact driver. It needed to be light AND comfortable to hold. It is not. In fact, it is EXTREMELY top heavy. Since the battery rides in the grip instead of below it, there's effectively no counterweight to balance out the heavy brushless motor in the head. When you start impacting, you'll find it will twist in your hand more since there's not enough inertia in the grip to balance it out. More fatigue. Normally, you'd buy a bigger battery to balance things out. But this is it. Seesii doesn't seem to offer any 16V batteries bigger than this.Speaking of the battery, it is a 4 cell design, hence the 16V. This means the grip is WIDE, and uncomfortable to hold unless you got big hands. Truthfully, I would have preferred a smaller 3 cell 12V battery if it meant the grip was smaller. These batteries also don't seem to last very long. Good reason it ships with 2 instead of one.The power is... decent. You're not going to blast off seized lugs with this, but it'll drive in most screws without complaint. My problem however isn't the power, it's how it's controlled. The "variable trigger" is really a stepped trigger that happens to pull smooth. The speed control isn't smooth like you'd find on an old brushed system, or a brand-name brushless. You can very easily feel/hear the different fixed speeds as you pull the trigger. There are 9 fixed speeds, which isn’t horrible, but not granular like you’d find in others. In practice, this means I'm pulsing the driver more instead of modulating the trigger to prevent overdriving the screws. Doable, but not ideal. In it’s defense, the trigger IS very responsive and consistent, which is better than I can say for similar priced drivers from American bargain brands.Even worse, the lowest speed that the trigger will allow is STILL FAST. This applies for both forward and reverse mode. I did not count the RPM, but if I had to give an estimate, the lowest possible trigger speed on the seesii is still twice as fast as a brand-name brushless impact. So when it comes to extracting slightly stripped screws, this isn't it. The hammer might be light and 'gentler' on the impact, but the lack of proper low speed control ruins any chance of gentle extraction. In summary, I bought this mini impact driver because I needed something that was small and controllable for precise jobs. And although it is small in size, it is awkwardly top heavy, awkward to hold, and clunky in how it handles it's "variable speed".
