Nice heavy head, a good size for a plastic tail, or for a nice big horse ballyhoo, even a good old fashioned strip bait. Good colors, lots of mylar flash and even a touch of abalone print on tje wings. Already rigged some 200lb and a 12/0 hook and just waiting for charlie tuna to show up so I can see how much he likes it...!

Having live flying fish for bait seems pretty improbable. The last time I delivered a sailboat across the gulf stream, we'd have to scrape the dried-up flying fish off the deck every morning, but I can't imagine catching them for live bait. So this Geronimo flying fish lure is the next best thing for offshore fishing.To me this lure presents a beautiful illusion of a flying fish. I hope the offshore pelagic fish see it that way as well. I'll update this review if I catch something with this lure.

Looks beautiful, high-quality, Deep-Sea fishing to resemble a flying fish. Value is depending on how often you use it to catch fish like Tuna.

This lure is a great color for PNW albacore fishing, I have caught many on similar color clones.Weight in this comes in around 4.25 oz for the whole thing, so the 3.5 oz rating for the head seems pretty close. Lure is unrigged, so you need to add your own line and hook to it. About 2/3 of the trailing “feathers” are a mylar plastic, the other 1/3 is a rubbery plastic common to tuna clones.I am pretty confident that this lure will do the trick in a few months when the tuna show up.

Very happy with the quality of this item. Everything is tight and in one piece. Good light reflection and attractive presentation. Excited to try it out on some mahi in the coming weeks. Definitely note that there is no hook included on this item. It is a 3.5 ounce jig head with a skirt attached. You will need to add the hook for trolling.
