The band has been sharing the stage with Jimmy Eat World this summer as part of their joint Summer Gods Tour.

I LOVE Third Eye Blind. This album was released 22 years after their breakthrough album, and not only do they still have it, they have more! A unique thing about their music is each album has a specific sound and vibe. Screamer slots in perfectly with this. Hard-hitting lyrics, raw emotion and passion, exhilarating and exciting music, everything you could want and didn't know you wanted out of Third Eye Blind. I'm really not exaggerating. Turn Me On, Screamer, Walk Like Kings, The Kids Are Coming, and Tropic Scorpio are at the top of my head as favourites, but honestly this album is in every way perfect.

I was a bit worried Stephan Jenkins was losing his voice when I listened to the slightly thin and underpowered Dopamine, but he (and the whole band) come back HUGE with Screamer. First few minutes I thought I could have been listening to The Naked and Famous -- love the energy and intensity and female vocals integrated into the title track. Rest of the album reminds me why I have continued to love these guys for 20+ years -- they just GET IT. Take A Side is already one of my all-time favorite songs by them (or anybody else). Each track is carefully crafted, and they wisely opt for short and (bitter)sweet when it suits the prevailing theme. There is no filler here -- disc has been on constant play in my car for the past 2 weeks. Can't see it coming out any time soon. Thank you, Third Eye Blind, for staying true to your vision and carrying on. Makes this vast, lonely universe seem a little more cozy with you around.

1stから20年も経ったんですね…。カセットテープのウォークマンでセミチャームドライフを聴いていたのが懐かしい…。さて、本作ですけど3ebの昔からのファンには絶対オススメですね。ファーストアルバムがまた聴きたくなること請け合いです。アレンジはロックアルバムとしては完成形でしょう。まさしく3eb。ボーカルがとくに◎。昔からこのスティーブンのボーカルと歌い方が好きだったんだよなーって改めて思いました。ラップロックはなんか90年代後半にタイムスリップした感じ、懐かしいなぁって思ってしまった。凄く良いアルバムなので、今の若いロックファンにも聴いてもらいたいですね。2曲目とかを聴くと、アジカンが影響受けたバンドってのもきっと納得できるかと思いますよ！
