Purchased for my adult son for Christmas...he just opened it and put it on his bow for the first time on 1/1/2025 and it doesn't seem to work right. The sear doesn't make the click sound it should make. Also used the extra sear and no difference. Out of return window because I purchased back in October. He really wanted this release and it wasn't cheap and didn't seem low quality.

The concept of this release was great and the function was great. However, the bolt holding the head to the articulated joint on the wrist strap failed. The hole is oversized, and there aren’t deep enough threads and the bolt just fell out. I was super lucky that it happened when I was not shooting, but could definitely be very dangerous if it happened while drawing the bow.

Great release for target panic victims! I always trigger punch an index release and went to thumb button for years! Like the ease of wrist strap and keeping up with release for hunting even though had straps on my thumb buttons! The 2 fingers helps control shot by using back tension but can still be punched! Click or no click sear included. Own 7 releases and 2 of these which I am sticking with!

Stop thinking and just buy one if you love an index release but punch the trigger. I've bowhunted for 37 years and developed pretty strong target panic over the past 5 years. This release helps you concentrate on pulling thru the shot with the audible click. You won't be afraid of the trigger because you can add pressure and know exactly where you are in the shot process. I've gone thru plenty of releases over the years, but this one's a keeper! I was even able to verify my flinch on a couple shots. As soon as the click happened, my aim went all over the target. Classic flinch. It will happen and you will thank this release for helping you process the squeeze and pull thru with your back muscles. It's a great product. Thank you, Scott Archery! Shooting is fun and deadly accurate again!

I was using a pincer release and it continually released the bowstring at about half draw, punching myself in the face and launching arrows 10 feet away. I switched to the Scott Hook release and had no problems. The release itself had a small manufacturing flaw and I called customer service. A new one is already on its way. Great customer service, excellent release.
