This book was a great book for my science and my students liked using the pages as they went along with my unit.

I just got this delivered, today. I looked through it and I can see how this will be really great for my lessons. I have other interactive notebooks, for different topics - life, physical, and Earth/Space. I teach middle school, in Florida. Even though this one is for fifth grade, I am already imagining using them for my middle school students.

I really love the curriculum information in this notebook, it’s organized in a fun and engaging way. I was really intrigued and looking forward to the interactive part, which is why I picked this workbook over some other well known ones. While lesson planning I noticed that pages that need to be cut out are on the same sheet of paper as the lesson for the next different topic. If you cut out one side, you are losing the information for the back. It is like this for the whole book. You will either need to work backwards so you have read and completed the lesson on the back side before you cut out the notebook page to make it “interactive” or scan and print all the interactive parts so you aren’t losing the lessons.This is the same at the end for all of their fun tabs and pockets they included. All back to back so they’re pretty much useless.I’m disappointed. I would have bought a different notebook if I had known.

My home school kids love these interactives. It's a fun, hands on way of reinforcing the subject material. I try to give them one every week. I have multiple years of this book as it better covers each grade's specific subject expectations. The interactives can be easily used for kids outside of the grade range as it's up to the instructor as to how much detail you expect.
