We purchased this new handle set to go with the Schlage Encode Plus WiFi Deadbolt, which we put on our new front door. We're very happy with the quality of the hardware, as well as the look of the Century Trim in satin nickel. The new door was pre-drilled for the door handle and deadbolt, however we did have to drill a hole for the lower bolt on the handle.

Schlage products are generally well built, well finished, well documented and easy to install. This lockset is no exception. The very adjustable bottom pin make using the existing hole in your existing door no problem (if there was a lockset similar to this one there before). Else just drill a new lower hole to secure the bottom of the handle by following the directions in the instructions. The latch works smoothly and easily and is secure. Installation took me about 20 minutes to de-install the previous lockset and install this more modern-looking Schlage hardware. You'll need only a Phillips screwdriver and perhaps a pair of reading glasses for the smallish print of the instructions.
