Turned out okay, but the packaging was a thin padded envelope. These light bulbs are very fragile. The containers were a bit mashed up, but the bulb works.

Very good bulb, but now if I could only find a working adapter to go from a T4.5 base to E12. They never fit right because of the threads not matching like they should. I tried 4 brands, nothing

Please understand - these are GREAT bulbs that do their job. They provide lots of solid illumination. Personally, I regret the purchase and installation ONLY because in the ceiling fan/light into which I installed them (with some decently made base adaptors for them to fit) the circuitry in my ceiling fan cooked from the additional heat emitted by these bulbs. So now I have great illumination, but a fan that is not working. This may never come up as an issue with your intended application, but do be aware that these bulbs burn hot. They simply have to in order to do their good job.

We bought this bulb as a replacement for our outdoor lamp's original bulb. The color and brightness of the lightbulb was a perfect match to our other outdoor lamps, which all have their original bulbs. Item was shipped fast, and arrived well cushioned and packaged.
