These BLSART Diabetic Sandals for Men are just okay. They are not going to suit everyone's foot type, though. When I first started wearing them, they seemed very comfortable on my feet, but as time went by over the following week, I realized that they were almost too cushioned, because they don't provide much support for the foot, particularly if you have such things as high arches. The foot bed of these sandals is very simple and flat, so there is no attempt to really support the foot. My feet are pretty sensitive and need some level of support. I will say they definitely favor wide feet and don't crowd the toes. I normally wear a US Size 14 Wide, and these Size 13 Wide are comfortable enough for me to wear. These sandals are fine to wear for short periods of time, but if you have "picky" feet, they are not going to give you the support your foot needs to keep from hurting. They are definitely not really designed for wear out in the outdoors, but should probably be worn only at home. They are reasonably well made, but only to a degree. This is definitely a mass produced style sandal. I don't think they're going to be very durable and I doubt that the soles will last for very long without deteriorating. Bottom line is, they are probably fine for occasional, limited wear, but not for the long term. The price point seems a bit on the high end, especially considering the mass produced nature of their construction. Personally, I think they should be priced about $30, MAX.I can't wholeheartedly recommend these sandals. They are okay, but as stated, they aren't going to suit everyone's feet and they should be better made and designed for the asking price. I give them 3 of 5 Stars, deducting 2 Stars for the reasons outlined.

These strap on and off very easily without significant pressure points, so may work as intended for anyone with medical needs, but anyone with medical needs should also show them to their own doctor and discuss before relying on them.I thought the design would be easily adjustable for my extra wide feet for quick and easy use getting around casually on vacation around a hotel early in the morning or late at night, similarly on cruise ships. These are not high fashion so I don’t use for everyday wear. They do function ok for this intended use. However, the footbed is not that soft and I expected better padding in the soles, so they are not as comfortable as I thought they might be. For this reason I don’t know if I would personally use them for medical wear. I also could have done without the big bright white logo lettering prominently displayed on the front of these shoes: BLSART. More discreet logo lettering is usual. For these reasons, I will get limited use only from these.

The diabetic sandals from BLASART epitomizes function over style in that they feel like walking on puffy clouds but look like disposable hospital shoes. As for me, I’ll take function and design over style any day. With that out the way, there is much to like with this footwear. These shoes are designed smart and for comfort. I really like that once you initially adjust the two Velcro straps, you simply slip the sandal on from there on out or until needed to be adjusted again. Additionally, the soles of these shoes are of a non-slip design which is great for me and our concrete garage floor. I have an old pair of CROCS that made me a believer in the need for non-slip soles on wet concrete. I also like the wide toe box of these shoes, though not for bunions or diabetes, but rather for the increased air flow. My feet stay much cooler in these than other footwear that target foot pain to include CROCS. The insoles of these sandals feels more like a quality running shoe in that they keep the shoe really light but have great arch support and heel stability. To sum it up, this is one extremely comfortable shoe designed with those of us with sensitive or hurting feet. They wear easily and fit well with great foot and lower leg support. I am a fan of these shoes and am already wearing them daily around the house and yard on these warm spring days. If you’re looking for a fashionable shoe that hits the height of style, this shoe probably isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for foot wear that is designed to coddle your feet, this is a great choice. I would absolutely order these again.

Summary:Comfortable diabetes sandals that are easy to wear, though they run a little large. A good choice for those with wider feet.Pros:• Extra wide for comfort• Easy to put on and take off• Comfortable for everyday wear• Ideal for those with thicker feetCons:• Runs slightly large; consider sizing downI ordered these diabetes sandals for my father, whose feet have gotten a little thicker over time. He used to wear a size 9, but now he needs a 9 1/2 or even a 10. I usually buy size 10s for him, but these sandals run a bit large, so I should have gone with a 9 1/2.That said, my dad likes them and finds them comfortable. The sandals are easy for him to put on and take off by himself, which is a great feature. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but if I were to order again, I’d opt for a half-size smaller.Disclaimer:I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine program. Don't be put off by the description of "diabetic" sandals. I'm sure they are great for those with foot issues due to diabetes, but these quality sandals can help with numerous and various foot problems, or they can just be worn by those with healthy feet as cool-looking sandals. I don't have diabetes, but about a year ago, I tore a tendon in my right foot. This has resulted in the foot being slightly deformed, with the toes partly curled up. These sandals are perfect for me. They are nice and wide, and the toes are completely free. The velcro closures allow me to make the sandals as tight or as loose as I choose. I wear a size 10 shoe, so I ordered the 10-wide sandals, and the fit is perfect. There is a fixed heel, and the velcro straps and sides open completely, so you just set your feet into the sandals back against the heel and then affix the wide velcro straps, which bring up the sides of the sandals, providing a very snug and secure fit so your feet don't move around in the sandals. The sides and straps are made of breathable fabric. The soles are very thick rubber, and the insoles are very well cushioned, which makes the sandals impressively comfortable. The bottoms are skid-proof, providing good resistance to slipping or sliding. These sandals shout quality all the way. Available in three colors, they look sharp and could be worn by anyone, whether they have issues with their feet or not. I'm looking forward to wearing them while camping this summer. I am very pleased with these quality sandals, and I highly recommend them.
