These work great, decent range, clear signal, no/undetectable lag. That said they are susceptible to the same weaknesses as any wireless system - solar storms (particularly bad every fifth or sixth year due to the sun's natural cycles, and 2024 was one of those years, solar maximum!), wi-fi band saturation, strong local signals like ham radios, etc. That said, they've only ever cut out once or twice over the course of eight months of gigging, and battery life is long enough for an hour and a half set, even after playing many gigs (my band plays three sets and I have two pairs of these, so I rotate the pairs on and off and charge the off pair between sets on the back of my rig). Oh, and one time a pair freaked out going straight from my passive bass guitar to my active pickup bass guitar without toggling them off and back on, so now I plug them in with the power off and then toggle them on (problem solved). Will definitely buy again! So good to have freedom of movement on stage.

Pairs up instantly. No distortion or problems with channel interference. Tone quality is as good as using a cable. After watching some You Tube videos I decided to buy this because it had the best quality of the systems tested. I agree. Great product for home practice or smaller gigs!

Inicialmente funcionaban excelente pero...El transmisor ya no retiene la carga, solo funciona unos minutos y se apaga. El sistema ha tenido un uso muy moderado por un año y asi ya no me es útil.No es conveniente!!!

I am a seasoned electric bassist who has been in various stages of active gigging since the early 1980's.My first venture into wireless systems was in the 1980's with a Samson system with the whole battery pack and cable for the transmitter and the box receiver with the silver telescopic antennas. The wireless experience in those days was good as long as I didn't stray too far from the receiver, and even then, there was considerable risk of dropouts and/or signal interference. I concluded back then that the sacrifice of signal quality (compared to a wired connection), the concern for dropouts, and the approximate $200.00 cost outweighed the benefits of going wireless and I vowed to forgo the experience and stick with the tried and true wired connection.Fast forward to today...I've experienced a renewed frequency of gigs recently and had a need to be able to venture on stage beyond the 20 ft. leash of a cable. I began researching wireless systems again "for grins" and I discovered an array of systems offered for under $75.00! Hmmm? I figured for that price I could dabble into wireless systems again without a huge financial loss if my experience was not a marked improvement over what I remember from the 80's. I chose the Getaria system based primarily on the positive reviews.Upon receipt and first use of the system, I was pleasantly surprised! First and foremost I was impressed by the sonic clarity of the system. These days, active basses are the norm, and with their hotter signal (compared to that of a passive bass) I fully expected audible dynamic range compression and a reduction in presence as compared to a wired connection. However, I heard no discernable degradation in the quality of the volume and/or tone of the bass! These artifacts may actually exist and be measurable by electronic audio analysis tools, but to my natural ear, no notable difference was heard.My satisfaction with this system only increased as I have used it for three outdoor venues. In each case there were at least 5 other wireless systems in use and not once was my signal compromised or interfered with by the other wireless systems used by the vocalists and horn section. Additionally, the range has yet to be exceeded! During sound check for the first gig, the sound engineer called me to his vantage point a good 100 ft. in front of the stage and I experienced no dropout. Even at that distance, the clarity and tone of the bass was maintained.Lastly, the battery design and longevity of a charge are impressive. Our set lists are an hour at a time, with 10 minute breaks in between, so I don't have any continuous usages beyond an hour time frame. As a precaution, I plug the units in for charging between sets even though the indicators do not convey a low charge. That being the case, I have yet to have had to abandon the use of the wireless system during a set due to an insufficient battery level.In conclusion; highly recommended!

My wife and I are professional musicians. We bought two of these as we were so sick of all the cords and instrument cables getting stepped on and twisted up as we played. After putting these transmitters to use that's no longer a problem and in addition, we won't have problems reaching far away mixing boards anymore.We've used these at several gigs so far and they're working great. I did notice an ever so sightly different sound when compared to being plugged in with an instrument cable but I was easily able to compensate at the mixer and any difference is hard for me to discern now.The fact that these use 5.8Ghz band is good because so many things in the environment these days use 2.4GHz. 5.8GHz means less chance of interference. These also have a very strong signal. I honestly couldn't hear any latency. If it's there it must be extremely low. They just seem to work great. In fact, after plugging these units in we never gave our sound another thought. Having four programmable channels is a big plus as well. Our two guitars each get their own channel.So far so good! We're very happy with these wireless guitar units.

I've been a "weekend warrior" musician for over four decades. I've played bass guitar in many bands over the years. For the vast majority of that time, I connected my bass to an amp or pedalboard via a cord. Starting in 2015 or 2016, I started using wireless guitar units. I went through several cheaper brands with varying results as far as sound quality, latency, useful distance between transmitter and receiver, etc. A few years ago, I invested almost $500 in a pro-level Shure unit (GLXD6), but starting a few months ago, that unit started dropping out on me onstage. Perhaps it's because we have other electronics that operate in the same 2.4GHz band and there's some interference that's just started; that's just speculation on my part.In any event, I started looking around for a wireless unit that operated in the 5.8GHz band and came across these Getaria units. I read some generally favorable reviews, watched a few YouTube videos and decided to purchase a set. At only a little over $50, I wasn't risking much money and could always return them if they couldn't do the job.I have to admit I wasn't too impressed with them when I first took them out of the box. They're made of plastic and when I put the transmitter into my guitar's input jack, the unit felt loose in it. It moved around and didn't want to stay in place.But what mattered to me more was performance. I used them at a gig and while playing songs, I'd walk around in the audience to see if I could hear any signal drop-off. I was probably 80-90 feet away from the stage before I encountered any. As far as latency, that exists with all these units, but it was so small as to not impact my playing. The unit didn't negatively affect my tone, either.A few weeks later, our band was the headliner at an early fall festival, where we performed on a big stage in front of several hundred people for two hours. The unit again worked flawlessly. I walked all around the large stage, and at one point I was at least 40 feet away from the receiving unit and didn't experience a drop-out all night.I've used the units during a four-hour gig without any problems. The units take a few hours to totally recharge after such an evening, but that's to be expected. It's easy to change channels (there are four) on the units if necessary, but I've never had the need. They also work with active or passive basses.If I could assist the the redesign of this model, I'd try to make the units smaller so that they'd be more stable in their respective input jacks. I'd also construct them out of a harder plastic. However, these minor design flaws don't overcome the fact that these Guitaria units provide the performance that a small-time pro needs. I recommend them.
